Very nice polish, even the British Royals use this, very traditional.

The media could not be loaded. It's the glazed donuts look!! Takes 3 coats plus a top coat. Goes on really well, not streaky at all.

This polish flows. Dry smoothly. Leaves no streaks when dry. Dry quickly and lasts a long time without chipping. The edges don’t wear off and I haven’t noticed the color yellowing from sunlight either. This one of the nicest sheer polishes I’ve ever used. It’s gives a very elegant manicure.

Allure is a neutral and flattering color. My new fav! This is 3 thin coats. It's sheer, but you can add more coats based on preference. It goes on smooth from the first coat and does not streak.

The title is not a joke, I'm serious you can look it up! The Queen's (rest her soul) was "Ballet Slippers" also by Essie. Quality wise of Essie nail polish is worth that higher price tag because it does tend to last better. I grew up on the cheapest stuff I could buy and was surprised with the quality when I tried Essie for the first time. This particular color "Alure" (while Kate Middleton's favorite and the one she wore on her wedding day) is pretty transparent. It's almost like a nude toned clear. I think it would be great as the first coat of a French tip situation and I love it as a one coat shine with some color in it but it is not high coverage by any means. Super safe color for any event or reason though! Even a wedding ;) Have a blessed day!

The polish is sheer and a barely-there color matching a pale Caucasian, which is me. It's the sheerest, most natural color I could find of so many other companies. Goes on smoothly. Has a slight chemical smell that dissipates shortly after being applied. Tries in an acceptably short time. I don't know about durability because I haven't used it many times, but safe to say, all polishes need a top coat for protection. I'm betting this one is no different.

I did four coats, and it looks more like transparent white, it’s such a great color that even one or two looks very great, i bought the color Allure, the quality is very fluent.

This Essie Allure is typically hard to find in stores so I order it through Amazon. I love this color bc it’s a beautiful, clean, sheer and natural hue that can be worn every day, from work to special occasions as well. It’s a color that doesn’t clash with anything in your wardrobe. I love it!
