A Great Hat
I’m happy to find this hat. No frills. Just a plain old mesh hat that lets a bunch of heat out very well for a sweaty old runner. I like it in cooler weather as well with a headband to cover my ears… is the perfect thermostat if you run hot and need good ventilation.

Perfect Fit & Sun Protection
I'm a runner first and foremost, so a hat with a bill that both gives me decent SPF protection and allows ventilation in the crown are a priority. I've purchased name-brand caps for runners as well as off-brand/generic ones that are serviceable, but none are close to this regardless of price.Runners and others like cyclists and hikers are looking for a lightweight head cover with a bill for eye protection. I've only had this for a week or two and have used it on 8-10 mile training runs I do. It fits perfectly though my head runs larger than average, so can't say how the adjustable strap would work with a smaller crown but my guess is that it would be just fine. While there is no mention of water-wicking tied to this cap, it is - as indicated - quick dry and lightweight which are absolute must haves for me. So if you're looking for a cap to use outdoors that is lightweight, offers good SPF for the top of your head and drys off well, this is the one for you.The price is as reasonable as name-brand caps I've purchased and probably $10 more than a generic cap of this type, but don't waste your time looking around if the features this one offers are what you want. The other nice thing is that the caps come in a variety of colors for styling and, more importantly, safety when engaged in outdoor activities day or night.

Most comfortable hat
This is my favorite hat ever. It is very light weight and comfortable, fits well, soaks up sweat well during my trail runs and washes well. It also holds up well, as I had another one before this one that is still in great shape. I wanted a second one so that I could wear it out and about. So I always keep one clean and the other I wear during trail runs and wash it once in a while. Price a bit high but the hat is so good, I don't mind splurging a little and I'm very conservative with money generally speaking.

Light, breezy running hat
I did my run this morning with this hat for the first time and I liked it! It's stiflingly hot out right now, so any bit of air you can get to pass over your body is good. I loved feeling the slight breeze pass right through the hat and over my head. The only issue I had was with the strap. I have a small head and I wasn't able to close the strap down far enough because the velcro is only at the end of the strap. My solution was to sew the strap where it needed to be in order to fit, then I cut the excess strap off. It wasn't that hard really. I'm a man. I don't sew. But I was able to do it with ease.Other posters mentioned that the hat can look crumply because the material is so light there isn't any real substance to the hat. This is true but it didn't seem to look too bad once on. I compensate by contorting my face into a painful look to draw others' eyes away from the crumpled hat to my sad-looking face!

Great looking cap that is lightweight for comfort in very hot weather, perfectly adjustable
This is a great looking cap. It has a good shape to it and the bill in neither too long or short. The best feature is that for sizing, it uses an infinitely adjustable hook & loop (you know, that trademarked stuff that is named with a "V" or something). So of course this allows you to get the sizing just right for you. Not a little too loose or a little too tight like many hats can be that use less flexible means of sizing.I find the material on the hat is a perfect balance for a really hot day in that it is just dense enough to block a significant enough amount of sunlight to help prevent sun-burn on your scalp, but is open enough to be very breathable. This is one of my favorite hats right now. And as I've seen in some other comments, I wish they would offer a few more color options. I would like to have a couple more of these in different colors and already have way too many black hats. And white for a hat? No thanks, they only look good for about a day or two when you are wearing them while being active outdoors. So, more colors please!

Light, Breezy, Comfortable - but fits best if you have a tall head or poofy hair.
My old hat got up and walked away... so now it is time for a replacement. Here is a comparison between TrailHeads Race Day, TrailHeads 360, HeadSweats Race Hat, and Nike Heritage86 Aerobill (I also really liked the terrific Adidas Sport Prime Relaxed Fit Cap--but it was too expensive @ $34).While all of the hats were good looking, had solid construction, and felt light, breezy, and comfortable... not all of them had a dark under-bill or reflective material that catches headlights from any direction like the TrailHeads hats. The TrailHeads Race Day hat had the nicest under bill - and seems to be designed for my exact head size (as the hat fits snugly when the adjustable strap is in the nominal position) and can be adjusted 1.25 inches smaller or 1.25 inches larger. It also looks nice from any angle, as the material is not see-through and there are no sharp edges or angles where the material is sewn together.Unfortunately for me however, the only hat that fit was the Nike hat, as the HeadSweats and TrailHeads hats seem to be made for people with lots of poofy hair (or very tall foreheads) because the amount of material in the hat itself seems to be far more that what is needed based on the maximum girth of the hats. All of these hats had so much extra material that pulling them tight--they would bend my ears backwards. In fact, I took some photo's to show just exactly how much extra room there is by wearing a golf ball under the hats.
