Weird proportions even for a man’s fitment
I am a short torso person, but with larger hips with round rear end and thick thighs, And my waist is much smaller than my lower half. But my rear end and all usually make up for the difference of my short torso with pants when it comes to where the top of the rise of the pants go… sort of... The pants waist goes all the way up to my chest though. So even though I was happy it came with a built in belt in the front, I felt like “Steve Erkel” from Family Matters TV show. But I can’t send it back right now because it’s past 30 days since we got hit by Hurricane Ida. Plus the material is super thin by the belt loops. I’m afraid it’s going to come apart there. I guess these were designed to be worn belted at the waist and let the crotch hang down by ones knees lol

Wonderful Baggy Pants
I feel like I'm living back in the 90s again. This is how pants are supposed to fit. The belt and buckle is trash, but the pants are great. They are baggy enough on the crotch and thighs for complete comfort and range of movement. If you are tired of pants being too tight on the legs, get these, you're gonna love them.

INFLATION NEGATED -- NOT The cure for the hipster b!tch tights monopoly!
2022-09-10 Edit: These pants USED to be good. Unfortunately the manufacturers cared more about hitting a "price point" than actually providing the advertised product! As fake fiat currency (e.g. US dollars) continue to lose value the manufacturers are using less material which means less width across the thighs. The second time I purchased them in ~2021 the thighs shrunk to hipster b!tch tights.I actually have to start my own clothing line and promise to make all the measurements blatantly clear and if anything changes it's the price to mach inflation, not removing material to hit a "price point". I ALWAYS am willing to pay for quality. Until then we'll have to make due with what we've got, which isn't much. Good luck maintaining your manhood in a soy-saturated world.Any way, here is the original review without modifications.----------For those hard-pressed like I to find good fitting ("loose" or "baggy") pants because we're manly men who don't wear tights: these are perfect! Please keep in mind this post is to help people determine what sizes and confirm it's worth buying - this is NOT a post about the quality of the workmanship as I've only owned three pairs for little less than a week. I'll try to cover some smaller aspects too that I wondered about. The key: when kneeling/squatting or if I pull my ankles all the way back it's my muscles where I hit the restrictions - NOT the fabric! I can freely move and these pants don't impose any movement/cooling restrictions! For the most part my thighs have suffered the most with other pants. Between not enough fabric and working at the computer sitting most of the day my thighs heat up quickly. I have a good three inches (six out and back) of fabric for my thighs. They're not (MC) "Hammer Pants" though they don't need to.The measurements are exact so if you have a flimsy measuring device the 40 inches around my waist (versus the old "34 inch" wranglers that went hipster tights over the past few years) was accurate! So make sure you measure your waist line manually (do NOT use the "sizes" from existing pants). BONUS! The waist is very reasonably flexible, if you're not familiar you'll be pleasantly surprised. Additionally there is a "low-level" micro-belt of sorts. My first instinct was to rip it out however I knew I wouldn't be able to put it back so I left it on. I actually find it useful. YES - there are belt loops on this and while I don't care to see pictures of dudes with mid-riffs they could certainly show a picture of someone wearing these with a shirt tucked in. The belt buckle is plastic and makes some noise in the dryer though it doesn't take up too much space for me so my normal belt fits fine. I've found it a very quick alternative for not having to wear my normal belt around the house. The length is about three to hour inches longer than necessary for me however I've been rolling them up (outwards at home and inwards in public). Eventually I'll find a tailor to get them properly hemmed though it's always better to have longer than shorter pants. After going through the washer and dryer twice there was no noticeable "shrinkage" for these pants which should be a major concern when looking for good fitting manly-man pants. The auxiliary pockets are a good size and use a couple patches of Velcro. There is no slot for a cell phone however you shouldn't use those as if you absolutely need to keep your phone on you then you should have your sun glass case between you and the literal microwave radiation being emitted from the phone (you know, the same waves used to COOK MEAT in a MICROWAVE). I digress, the extra pockets are good. The back pockets use a single patch of Velcro. I never use the back ones though I'm trying to get all those details in for those who are tired of rolling ones on pants. The button and zip are of okay quality. It's not a snap (the best and those never fall off!) so there is the chance of the button needing to be sewn back on. The zipper is of meh quality and doesn't zip smoothly. I do not know if that will present a problem in the future (e.g. the need for a tailor to remove and replace the zipper) though it does technically work just fine. There is no dumb junk pointlessly hanging off of these pants like the stuff you'd get if you're forced to go to these things I hear are called "malls". So it's all functional, exactly the way manly-man pants should be made!I think I asked a question and it was answered in about one day which is not terrible though most of us ARE used to instant gratification (hence why I'm trying to cover as much detail here as possible).I paid for two day shipping and effectively got three mostly because they took a day to respond. I don't mind that much considering how happy I am with these pants though if you're running a tight timeline it is something to consider. The brand is "F Jack F Fanes Vintage Denin" for those curious. I don't care about brands - I care about competence. The cotton isn't advertised as organic and even if it was I highly advise washing clothes before you wear them because of the pesticides sprayed on almost everything.Quality wise nothing seems frayed or too many loose strings hanging anywhere. Granted I've had these pants for a grand total of about five days so.Overall these pants are fan-frigin-tastic! I've been looking for these for such a long time! I'll be stockpiling these bad-boys in order to survive the nuclear-hipster-winter where everyone else is running around wearing tights. You'll look and feel comfortable and no one will think you're either from the ghetto and trying to show off your junk.

Best cargo pants I have ever purchased.
Bagginess and waist size are perfect. Material is soft and strong. Pockets are deep and have quality lining. It takes a while to get to the US because they are from China... but well worth it. I liked them so much I bought all colors. Hard to find good cargos in the US.
