Great sound, durable, and stylish
I've had a wired pair of HyperX Cloud II's for years now and loved them. I broke my wireless gaming headphones I had (which I used for convenience), and I was scouring the internet for reviews looking for the best headset for the money as I'm sure most people want the best bang for the buck.Shockingly no websites I came across so much as mentioned the HyperX Cloud II wireless headphones. It was only by chance that I came across an ad for them. I'm very happy I did because one because these even outperform the headphones I was replacing; which is funny because the ones that broke were recommended by many review websites I looked at.With that said - there's some improvements made with the wireless version of the headphones. The ones I like most are the visual red LED ring around the mic when its muted and also the audible 2 beep or 1 beep for mute/unmute. The other thing I love and this is obvious because they're wireless.. I don't have anything hanging off my shirt with all the controls like the wired version. The sound quality is awesome with both pair which makes sense considering it's the same 53mm drivers powering both versions. The 7.1 audio isn't the absolute best in the market but I'd argue they hold their own for the price range they're in (and potentially against higher priced). It's proved very useful and accurate in games like Call of Duty which hearing where enemy footsteps/movement is can be the difference between winning and losing.Wrapping things up.. I bought these as a refurb - I haven't purchased many refurbished products but I am very impressed. Aside from it not being original packaging, I would have no idea these aren't brand new. No scratches or dings and everything that you'd get new was included. I paid 1/2 price and got an incredible product. 10/10 recommend.Final thought: the reason for 3/5 on noise cancellation is these aren't made to be that way. However they do block out a fair amount of noise from wearing them.

5 Star
I can’t speak about the mic cause I do use a stand alone mic. But the headset is the best headset I’ve owned for gaming. The directional foot steps is so easy to pinpoint exactly where people are. I ordered gel cooling ear muffs to go with it but I fell in-love with the comfort of the stock fuzzy ones. W buy!

Comfortable, good quality
Got a refurbished pair over 3 years ago. Put it through moderate use for the first year or two, less use for the last year. They still work well.Comfortable, good audio quality, good mic quality.

HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset
I only use the HyperX Cloud II gaming headset. I love the surround sound and you do not hear the annoying base. Razer BlackShark V2 to try out new headset and the base was so annoying I couldn't play and the surround sound just blurred out cause I could not hear foot steps. I uploaded the app and tried to fix it but did not work. I went back to the HyperX Cloud II super fast!!!

Solid product!
Hyper X is the only headsets I buy anymore. I own the Cloud Core, Core II, Alpha and the Revolver S. The oldest being more than 10 years old and they all still work good(revolver s has some cracked plastic on inside band). I don't know which headset I'm reviewing, but they are all solid choices. Replacement ear cuffs are available too!

Horrible purchase, never buying refurbished electronics again.
I saw the reviews and thought this would be a good purchase, but either I got a bad one or none are worth buying when refurbished, it works fine on my laptop, but it only works well for 1 minute on my Ps5, then suddenly audio starts cutting in and out, until it just cuts out completely, not even disconnecting, resetting, updating software on headset through the app or website fixed it. I only wanted it for my Ps5 to begin, which it IS supposed to work with, so this is definitely not something I’d recommend to anyone, I’ll just buy the same thing wired I guess.
