E46 Pump! Passenger Rear.
Install was straight fwd. this pump does not come with a gasket so make sure to reuse the old one or replace it with a new one. So far it’s working after a week of usage. No issues yet.

It's like I was back to factory stock again
I bought this as my second pump in about three months, because I previously bought a GMB pump (also sold here on Amazon). The GMB was WAY cheaper at the time, about $60 compared to $160 for the Bosch. Unfortunately the GMB never read my fuel right. Ever. It was extremely frustrating how wildly inaccurate it was: for example, I would fill up, and it would go up to 1/3 of a tank, then fluctuate all over the place until it would go to empty when I had 100+ miles left on the tank.Anyhow, I asked around on various BMW message boards and everybody shamed me for buying the cheap part over the Bosch, and said to get the Bosch. So I did, and it works perfectly. Not much else to say. It's like I was back to factory stock again. I would recommend this to anybody who needs a pump. Easy install, works like it should.

Put a new gasket
It works well and doesn't make much noise compared to other brands. My only negative about it - it's pricey. But not because it's not worth it. You get what you pay for - quality and reliability. But it's a damn shame that it doesn't come with the sealing gasket. Because if you miss it and don't order separately - you are in trouble. Do not reuse gasket even (as I did) couple of days old from cheaper pump. The least they could do is make sure it's in the listing kinda where you would pay attention to it. Otherwise we'll worth the money

Do not buy this unit or from this seller.
First of this is a Chinese Bosch unit. The unit lasted me 1600 miles before fuel gauge began glitching out giving false readings all over the place. Instead of just returning the item through Amazon I reached out to seller for a warranty. Seller states that the only way item can be warrantied is to have a certified mechanics professional written statement submitted who installed and deems the item to have been a failed unit. No certified mechanic in any shop is going to be taking a Chinese customer supplied part and installing it for them let alone offer a warranty of their own for labor. The product should carry its own warranty if an obvious defect can be shown. I took the entire unit back out and discovered the faulty fuel gauge to be a weak contact with the ohm wires. Now I can’t trust my fuel gauge at all and will be buying a different unit. I should’ve just returned directly through Amazon.

Loosen and unscrew the large metal ring with screwdriver and mallet.5. Pull out old pump with finger loop located on top of pump6. Replace with new pump with old or new gaskets and reverse steps.
