CaronCotton Cakes Self Striping Yarn 530 yd/485 m 8.8 oz/250 g (Calico Flowers)

I ordered three skeins of yarn. All at the same time. They were all shipped from different places. One of them came almost a month later than the other two. The yarn is beautiful but obviously not the same dye lots for each skein. If you’re concerned about dye lot you may need to watch where you’re buying them.

It works us very easy. Has great color changed and washes well. Nice and soft too.

I used Caron Cotton Cakes self-striping "Calico Flowers" to crochet a market bag for myself. It turned out beautifully! Washes up well and dries without blocking. It's perfect for picking up veggies and fruit at our weekly farmer's market. My daughter liked my bag so much she asked me if I would make the same bag for her. She loves hers too!

Love the color pattern for the blanket I am making. It’s soft and easy to work with.

Love the product. Needed more of this color for my grand girl’s Afghan. Colors and textures are excellent.

First of all, the colors are not the same as pictured. The yellow literally looks like the yolk of an egg and they aren’t as light as the picture. This is my second Cotton Cakes purchase that the yarn is knotted and I actually had to cut and do a magic knot SEVERAL times. Not worth the $$. Won’t be purchasing again, off to Michael’s
