LEGO Pirates Shipwreck Defense (70409)

Perfect set for a 6 year old that loves Pirates, easy for him to put together all by himself and he loves the pirate minfigs.

Exactly what we wanted and expected at a much better price than we found anywhere else. Two little boys were quite happy to get and share the many pieces in this Lego set for Christmas.

I didn't realize how TINY it was going to be. And the box itself arrived damaged inside the shipping box somehow, which was a bummer because it was a gift.

As advertised. They are legos. The ones shown on the box. arrived unopened. So, good, yah?

This is a fun little add-on set: the build is quick and simple and you get a very simple play feature with the cannon. My recommendation is to also purchase set 70411 Lego Pirates Treasure Island as the two sets actually can connect together and make a VERY nice little beach front play scene.

My grandson was thrilled with this for his birthday. Looks like fun. Good companion toy.

I was amazed at how small and "cheap" this was. Seems like it should cost under $10.We bought it for a Christmas gift, but sent it back because we didn't want to look cheap!

I purchased this set as a gift for a 6 year old who specifically asked for "Lego Pirate" stuff. I wasn't finding much in our local stores, so I was happy to find this set online. I was a little taken aback by how small the set is for the price (the box is about 6" X 6"), but my friends are telling me that "Lego is expensive" so I guess that's par for the course.
