After trying this brand of instant oatmeal, I instantly changed my tune from hating instant oatmeal to loving it! The steel cut varieties have sesame seeds in them, as well as the oats and just the right amount of sweetening. It does not taste or smell like dough. which some of the other brands have. It also does not have a gummy nasty texture, that has a very pleasant cooked on top of the stove feel to your mouth. The steel cut feels like cream of wheat. And the regular old-fashioned taste like rolled oats. This is the best of all the incident meals out there for cold mornings.

My office has been ordering these, and they taste great, so I decided to order them for myself. They're not too sweet, which I love. They also contain flaxseed. It only takes 2 minutes and 30 seconds in the microwave to heat them up. I’ve also seen them at Amazon Fresh, so next time, I might just pick them up there.

I love oats and oatmeal. This is super easy to make with the bag serving as a water measuring cup. It is a great value for a high quality product. It has good ingredients and is filling. Tastes fresh and great, perfect portion and calorie amount for a medium size breakfast.

It’s not often I encounter a quick and yet healthy food item from a box, so if you are looking for something like that to get you started off on the right foot in the morning then perhaps this is it. It’s prepared in a microwave in about two minutes and it is flavored just about right for my taste. Not too sweet and the maple flavor is not overpowering. I like to add a few blueberries and a dash of cinnamon. Each serving comes in its own premeasured paper pouch. The portion is just about right for me in the morning. The consistency is also about perfect when mixed with the recommended amount of water which is measured by refilling the little paper pouch with water to the fill line indicated. I like that the product is environmentally friendly… with simple cardboard box holding simple paper pouches. Not much waste here.
