DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL! Absolute garbage kit. Instructions are terrible (no words, just picures like a bad Ikea set). The fit is terrible. Considering the scale it's amazing how far off everything is (see the photo- there is still a sizeable gap and that is after I had to shave down the instrument panel; it was even worse before). Honestly I don't think anyone at Revell even tried to build this piece of crap before going straight to production. Complete waste of time and money. Bad enough to consider never buying from Revell again.

No instructions included, images only.
Quality of the kit is good. Fit could use some improvement. The lack of written instructions leaves one a bit bewildered at times. Skill level is 5+ but even that may be misleading. The absence of formal instructions or clarity of the cryptic images provided with the kit make for a lot of head scratching.

A complex large model, but not as good as Tamiya models
A large model of the F18, the jet in the latest Top Gun movie. Its a complex model, so anyone building it should be experienced modeler. The instructions are multi-language, which means no words, just very complex pictures and codes for colors and decals. I use Tamiya paints, so matching to the color codes was also very challenging. I did find a PDF of the instructions on there web side, which helped. The models parts are not well made, and so its very easy to make mistakes in their assembly, and sometimes the parts DO NOT fit together correctly. In a few cases parts had to be 'refined' to make them fit. But the model is far less expensive than comparable Tamiya models, so yes you get what you pay for.

Horrendous fit
This is the worst kit I have ever experienced. They amount of putty required for fitment is terrible. It is not a pleasure to put together due to all the alignment issues. I have had to use two part putty to ensure fit is stable. I don't even know if I will complete it.
