Awesome read and came in great shape
I absolutely love this book but I'm also just a huge Final Fantasy fan. The book came in perfect condition with no damage whatsoever!

A fun, if simple read
As a fan of Final Fantasy since the NES days, I enjoyed reading this book, but if you are looking for a high quality story you're not going to find it here. The stories feel rushed, like a first draft, but still I enjoyed it. If it wasn't Final Fantasy though, it would likely be rated quite a bit lower.

A Fun Companion Piece/Retelling
I enjoyed seeing the world maps, character bios and stories based on the first 3 final fantasy games. It's nice to feel the personalities come alive and see the teamwork in the iconic battles with faster pacing than the games (skip the difficulty, random battles, unintuitive old battle systems/places to go next that may need a guide). You don't need to play the 3 games, though it is nice to compare the canon to your choices, as well as have brief world maps should you want to play the games with jobs/skills based on the stories.

A simple read for fans of the game series. Not much else.
My version didn’t have any color inserts. Hog wash! This book is at about a middle school grade level. Short, under developed plots. It’s perfect for those who want a little extra flare out of the first three installments of the game series. Other than that, you might find yourself bored. As in all final fantasy philosophy, light cannot exist without darkness, and when that balance is tilted, chaos will emerge. These short stories do convey this overall theme, but the execution was found wanting.3 out 5F. D. Gross
