Amazing price, easy removal with some fall backs
Pros:1. The price is unbeatable and the materials used to make these are pretty good.2. They didn't have bad smell when I first got them-- which is very important because you don't want your first batches of ice taste like rubber.3. They make perfect giant ice cubes IF you have a fridge with flat bottom, which I don't so my ice came out ugly on one side.4. Easy removal. The removal of giant ice is always tricky. For this one you don't need to bang it on counter top of run it under water for too long which melts the ice too much. Just push the bottom up and the ice will pop out.Cons:1. Well... when you are buying this type of ice cube tray with no lid you should already know that they will taste like your freezer once you leave it there for long, sometimes even overnight. I don't find it bothering because come on... you see the picture, how can you even think the ice will not get the fridge taste to it. What I do is I put them into zip lock bags and it really helps a lot with the taste. If your fridge really smells maybe use double zip lock.2. This soft silicone material that provides easy removal, brings such a hassle when you try to put the tray into the fridge. I can only hold the tiny edges of the tray and it is so soft that if you are not careful you might squeeze out the water. And it takes up a lot of space in my fridge because you don't want anything to be stacked on top of it. Having the two trays in the set in my fridge at the same time is really hard for my tiny freezer.3. DON'T FILL WATER TO THE TOP OF THE SLOTS. If you want the perfect ice in the picture you have to actually fill like 80-90% of each slots because water expands when they freeze. I didn't really care about the shape so I just conveniently filled water all the way to the top. It caused so much trouble when I tried to take them out because the ice rose above the dividers between slots. The whole tray of ice cubes are connected so I had to run it under water for a little while. I don't like watery ice at all so it bothered me so much. To avoid that I have to put water in a easy pour jug and carefully put water (I don't use tap water) inside. In all, although the silicone material can cause some trouble but there is no better big ice cube tray I know that offers such easy removal. For this price I think it is definitely worth buying.

WILL NEVER GO BACK TO REGULAR-SIZED CUBES FOR OUR TODDIES
My husband and I love these giant 2-inch silicone ice cube trays and whine like babies when one or the other of us forgets to promptly refill it after taking out the last ice cube. We sometimes relax with an end of the day scotch and soda, which we leisurely sip as we discuss our respective days. Our toddies no longer become watered down because we don't sip faster than the ice melts. Of course it takes a bit longer for the cubes to freeze thoroughly, but if I fill the tray with water by 10 AM they are set to go by 4 or 5PM, easy.Speaking of easy, the only downside is that the cubes take effort to pop from the tray. I turn the tray upside down and use all my strength to force cubes out, using the balls of my thumbs to push on the bottom of the cube. It seems, however, that cubes that are not filled with water completely up to the top are easier for me to pop out when frozen. (Hubby doesn't have to struggle as much as I do to get the cubes out of the tray.) That aside, we both love the tray and would cringe to have to go back to regular-sized ice cubes for toddies. Amazing as it seems, even when frozen the trays remain supple and soft. At first I was hesitant to wring and twist the tray around when removing the cubes - afraid that the tray would tear or split - but no. These silicone trays are very durable and hold up well under any abuse we give them when removing the cubes. JULY 10, 2016 UPDATE: the trays are holding up very well under regular use, and it is much easier now for me to remove the cubes. Perhaps part of the problem was hesitating to really wring and twist the tray, afraid that it would tear. But this hasn't happened and hubby and I are both very happy with how the tray is holding up.NOTE: one reviewer complained that her giant cubes appeared cloudy. This wouldn't be due to the tray itself, but rather to quality of water being used to make the cubes. We always use distilled water for drinking anyway, so our cubes are lovely.PROSproduces huge cubes that help omit water dilution in the drinksilicone material remains supple even when cubes are frozen, which helps in efforts to remove the cubessilicone tray material is BPA free and FDA approvedone giant cube can last through more than one drinkCONSsome persons may find removing the cubes from the tray to be a bit of a challengeyou risk becoming spoiled - once you begin using these giant cubes in your end-of-the-day toddy, you'll no longer be satisfied with ordinary-sized cubes
