Special dental brush
I finally found this special toothbrush on Amazon...had searched in multiple stores with no luck. I have a space between a dental crown and the tooth in front of it and this Proxabrush is the only way I know of to really brush in that tiny space. You need both the handle (plastic, like a toothbrush) and the refill of bristles (like a very tiny bottle brush...available separately in severalsizes): together, they make a really effective cleaning tool for those small spaces between teeth.

For me, more waste than it's worth
A dumb purchase for me. I was trying to eliminate the waste of the one piece throw away proxabrushes. I thought an appliance with refills would be more eco-friendly. First of all, you need a family of 4 to use the 4 appliance handles. The brushes are not durable, one time use for the tight one, which I don't really need anyway, but tried it. I primarily use just the medium brush. So I basically paid, for my use, $10 for one appliance handle and 4 brushes. The rest goes in the trash. Think before you purchase. I did not.
