Had rather a lot of black grit in. Really not good for teeth or digestion. I cooked enough for 3 people - 1 adult and 2 kids and found approx 20 tiny pieces of grit in that small amount. Am not bothering with rest

I wanted to try black rice for some time now as it is meant to be better for your health.I found it to have a very nice flavour to it.Its a shame you can`t find it in the super markets.I also found it a little pricey.
