I have multiple sclerosis. In November 2012 I came down with pneumonia. Because f the MS, I did not have th strength in my stomach to cough up congestion. To show how bad the problem has been, I lost 35 pounds. The regular strength just could not quite do the job. The severe congestion formula, coupled with water, thinned the congestion so much for a day my cough was so loose I sounded like I had a bad cough, even though I felt well! A tip - for any who faces the same issue. I realized the congestion was so thin I would not be able to cough it up. Then I thought to have a chocolate fudge bar. Since both chocolate and ice cream produces mucus, it worked! It provided mucus heavy enough I could bring up congestion I have battled over 6 months! I had just finished 1st of 2 bottles I had purchased. I had been told it was possible that the congestion left after the original Mucinex treatment could be permanent! I strongly recommend that anyone with a severe congestion problem to try this product.

Let's face it, cough syrup does not taste great but for a cough syrup, this one is fine. The best thing is that it works! The price is very reasonable as well. I was so happy with the results, I purchased two additional bottles to have on hand for the upcoming winter season for my family.
