Works
I use these for applique. My only con is that it's too wide for the printer but it does print well.

Instructions for attaching badges to scout vests/uniforms
I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5 for three reasons. ONE, the following scout instructions for using this to attach batches are much better than the instructions provided on the package or online. TWO, there has not been time yet to test the durability in the wash, etc. THREE, the product came folded in half so that there is a hard crease in the sheets.1. Place your merit badge or patch on the sheet facing upwards. Trace around the perimeter of your patch using a pen or pencil.2. Set the patch aside and cut out the shape you just traced using a sharp pair of scissors.3. Remove one side of the covering of the iron-on sheet and carefully place your badge or patch on top of it.4. Then, remove the other covering sheet and tuck any overhanging adhesive behind your merit badge or patch.5. Place the merit badge or patch where you want it on your sash. 6. Since the adhesive isn’t permanent until ironed, you can take your time moving it into the perfect position.6. Run your iron over your merit badge or patch for about 25 to 30 seconds. It might also help to use the steam setting to ensure your patch is secured.

The new yellow grid on one side makes it impossible to make mistakes
I like the new yellow grid making it easy to know which side to apply your traced pattern first.

This is my pick
I use to use their Lite S/S in the green pkg, which is not back on the market. I bought four diff' brands to try and made a test sample. All felt the same after swing. And, only one brand did I have to score the paper w/ a pin to get it off. Then I washed the sample after I did my stitching by machine. This one was indeed lite and I liked it the best. I do a lot of machine applique and glad to see now they have on the side to draw, grid lines. When I used it long ago, I managed to get the sides confused.SaS 2 is made to be sticky, allowing it to hold to your design wall, then transfer to your ironing surface w/o pieces falling.I like sheets too to trace. And, this brand you can save the scraps to use for smaller tracings. One easily available brand on the roll does not, most waste though cheaper. This is my pick.

This product is a must for applique.
Love it for raw edge Applique. Used for years! Can be expensive for large projects.

So glad I found this product
I purchased this product hoping it could do what I needed. My kid's summer camp shirt was WAYYYY to big. He looked like a vagabond wearing it. Unfortunately, the camp didn't have anymore shirts to give out. I purchased a plain version of the camp shirt, and cut the existing camp shirt up to remove the picture that was on the front of it. My intention was to essentially make a large "patch" out of the huge logo on the old shirt and Steam-A-Seam it onto a shirt in his correct size. I was able to successfully attach the old shirt remnant to the new shirt, and it looks great (if I do say so myself). I have laundered the shirt several times, and it has done beautifully, no fraying or anything. The shirts were cotton.
