DeWalt DW2507 Compact Rapid Load Set, 6-Piece

This is a well made and extremely useful one handed screw driving attachment, and yes it does lock in the bits perfectly, thank you! Perhaps people are getting confused about how to lock a bit because the bits go in deeper than in most holders in order to allow the magnetic collar to contact the screw head. I've used tools my whole life professionally and otherwise and this ingenious device is the only one handed screw holding and driving attachment that I've ever found that is actually worth fooling with. It has a sliding magnet system that holds even long screws securely while you move the drill with a secured screw into the location to drive the screw. This thing is really clever and works really well. It is so useful that after ordering one, I ordered two more and then today I ordered four more just in case this becomes unavailable because of bad reviews here by people who don't know tools.

This DeWalt bit set is a real workhorse. The bits are tough, the case is compact and easy to carry, and the magnetic driver makes swapping bits a breeze. I've used it on everything from assembling furniture to hanging shelves, and it's never let me down.

This is always attached to my impactor so it is my go to and i love it. easy to use and always ready to use. Its kinda hard to remove to change bits but it does the job

I'll admit, I've become spoiled by the bits that magnetically hold a fastener in place. These turn what can often be a two-handed job into a single handed effort at any angle. This not only does that in spades but its extremely versatile to boot. The magnet is strong enough to hold even a 3.5" screw in any position at any angle. Another advantage to its design is the body of the bit holder spins independent of the shaft. This provides a place to hold for applying two-handed pressure to steady and start a fastener, as with starting steel roofing/siding screws without predrilled holes. My only cons would be I'd rather it wasn't this long; closer to the chuck is easier to position the screw, and I really have no use for a T20 bit, would rather have a PH3 bit instead. I may cut some length from the shaft, chuck it into a drill press and use a round file to cut a new keeper depression into the shaft. But that's just me being picky because I'll likely buy one of this tool for each of my 4-5 impact drivers (I've lost track). Another great tool from DeWalt!

This bit holder has a couple of nice features that make it exceptional. The first and most important is that it is a locking bit holder. The bit will not fallout unless you pull back the release collar, this is a nice feature as I am so sick of the magnetic holders that the bit get stuck in the screw and falls off of the holder. The other feature is that there is a magnet at the front of the collar that will hold on to your screw so it won't fall off. The collar slides back and forth so it will adjust to any bit/screw you put in it. The magnet is very strong and holds the screw so you can do a one handed install for those difficult to reach spots. I'm tossing all my magnetic holders and getting some of these to replace them.There is only one downside and that is that the head is large in diameter. So that might be an issue in a confined space where you don't have the clearance. For those circumstances just use a regular long power bit.
