This product is specifically packaged to fill Nancy Jean's Stacking Gardens, also from Garden Supply. I've used it successfully in a competitive stacking planter. By weight, this item seemed to be the best value, and it should fill the Nancy Jean product, but mine are a bit larger and I've ordered another set.

I am using this coir in an airhead marine head. I wanted to drop in here and comment about the size of these bricks just like everyone else here seems to be. I would say that for the price i wasnt upset. This is because this three pack is about the same price as all of the other single bricks i have seen on amazon. unfortunately just because there are three of them doesnt mean your getting any more choir than you would get in another brands single pack.However if your like me and your looking at price against volume I felt like two of these three was a good amount for my airhead. You could go with all three for starting your head but I chose two and it has been plenty. I figure I have the third one in reserve in case i do a partial change out later and just need some more choir to top it off.So triple check pricing on here because even though everyone is upset about the size of each brick, you do get three of them.

Great product. Absorbs water well and doesn't smell. Giving it a one star because the shipment said 3 bricks but only 2 bricks arrived in the order. You'll pay for 3 bricks but will only receive 2.

If you intend, like I did, to order and get 20 - 300 gram bricks for about $50, good luck getting them to ship it right. I ordered it based of the detailed description which states that the case consists of 20 bricks. But I got only 1 brick, I called and the first rep said they could see what I could see and would resend the order. Guess what...I got 1 more brick, not a whole case of them. After 30 minutes or more going over this again with another rep, they told me I would have to return it until the description is fixed. They could not figure out if they shipped 18 more bricks we would be good, I gave up and I am returning them, I should have just gone to the store. Becareful if you order this item...

The product description is a little misleading: the "3 bricks" only equal about 1.25 bricks of most other Coco Coir sellers.As far as the product itself: it works just as well as an other coconut fiber growing medium.

I received three blocks (like listed) and I used about half of one to fill up a Fiskars Ariana 8-inch pot (a product on Amazon). It expands a lot, and the texture is pretty good, like soil. It wont stain your fingernails like soil, and you can be sure that the plant you are growing will be organic (given you are using organic fertilizers).

Was pretty happy with the quality of thr product as far as it not having too much dirt/salt/sand, but was very disappointed at how little the coco expanded. I expected it to be enough to fill a few small lots, but no such luck.
