As a new pysanky maker, I found I needed a lathe and a device to empty the contents of the egg. The lathe is simple to use, and helps me to write the guiding lines I need. The egg-emptying device is easy to use, too!! I am very satisfied with my purchases.

Works great
This setup is excellent for painting Ukrainian eggs. Much easier and cleaner than trying to hold them in your hand. The lathe is small and easy to store. It is also very easy to use. I would buy it again.

Could use better support
Would have really liked this if both holder areas had rubber/gasket bumpers. Only one side had a bumper buffer that would “grip” so turning the lathe did not move uniformly and the egg would slip. And when asked where to get additional gaskets my inquiry was met with silence

It work!
This setup works well! Blowing eggs is time consuming though. I also rinse the inside and the tool with a little bleachy/soapy water or else it’ll stink. The lanth holds the egg well
