Metropolitan Tea Company Monk Blends Tea (25 Tea bags)

Great flavor monk tea. Easy to use as these are tea bags and the bod has a sliding door. I enjoy the flavor as it is mild and not over powering. However if you plan on adding flavoring to the tea - such as vanilla extract or syrup, make sure you add it and mix well and taste it. I’m not sure what I put in that caused a bitterness flavor coming out of the bag

I first experienced this tea when I had lunch at the Yak and Yeti restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom park. I liked it so much that I bought a box to bring home. When it was gone, I found some in a tin that, while it was good, it was not as flavorful as this one. I was happy to find this box of tea again and bought it. It is just as flavorful as I remember and will buy it again. I can only guess that the difference between this one and the one I found in the tin is that this one is fresher - it is packed in a tinfoil like bag inside the box and the box itself is wrapped in a plastic wrap.

I love this tea!! I actually just finished the pack and am here to order another so I figured a review was needed. Its super smooth and has such a nice flavor. The box is adorable too. I actually found out about this tea from a YouTube "Try Guys" video. 🤣

The tea is quite lovely and one of my favorites. Unfortunately, one of the wooden tea boxes was crushed on one end — it must have been damaged before being packaged because the shipping box was not damaged at all.I collect these kinds of tea boxes and am rather disappointed that only one of the two is any good.

Delicious, genuine vanilla flavor married with rich, robust black tea. Full bodied and glorious, like a trip back in time for your teacup 🍵 An absolutely amazing completely underrated tea. Your life will be better off.

I learned about this tea several years ago and have been ordering it by the pot at aa Asian restaurant I frequent. This tea has a subtle flavor and pairs well with Thai cuisine.

Even if under-steeped, this blend is very bitter without added sweetener. I usually take my tea without milk or sugar, so that was a disappointment. The packaging is very nice (the wooden box with sliding top), and with a little sugar, the flavor is excellent -- grenadine and vanilla are really nice with black tea! I tried making an iced tea and it seemed promising, but I'll have to fiddle with it to get it just right. I probably won't repurchase this, because it is so bitter.

I love Monk's Blend tea and have tried different varieties, all loose teas, over the years. This is the first time trying Monk's Blend in a tea bag. Perfection, and just how I remember it tasting the first time I tried this tea.
