Q: If I go on a camping trip with this and it gets wet. How does this hold up, both the pen and notebooks.

Well, even though the pages are wiped clean with a drop of water, an excessive amount of water wouldn't be ideal. A few drops here and there on the cover or on individual pages wouldn't be a major issue but, just like any other notebook and pen, it's best to keep them as dry as possible- except for when erasing the pages!

Q: Are the pages dot grid?

yes they are... very faint dots but they are on the page.

Q: How fine is the pen? (I like super fine pens.)

It’s a .7 so medium line. It’s a gel pen. Definitely not super fine. The pens are super easy to find though so there may be other pens of a better line size for you.

Q: Does the pen smear? (I'm left handed)

I'm left hand too. It smudges a lot. It's a great notebook but not at all friendly for us lefties. I would instead use the rocket book wave (if you still want the smart features) as that dries as fast (or almost as fast) as a normal notebook. Another problem that this actually solves for being left handed is that my hand doesn't hurt after a while when it's resting on the spiral part of the notebook; unlike most notebooks I use with the cheap metal spiral.
