A legit solid workout
Honestly, I was skeptical of this workout. If you look at its Amazon page, it's hard to even figure out the DVD title, because instead of a name, they crammed in a long list of keywords to get maximum search results. That, and if you start reading reviews, a lot of people seemed to have gotten a free copy of the DVD in return for a review. That said, I think it is a legit workout. I can run 5Ks five to seven times a week and probably average 12 - 15 miles every time I touch my bike. It's hard for me to even get my heart rate up on a run now. I give this DVD five stars because it just seems to be the perfect amount of everything. Never in my life would I imagine that a holding a featherweight piece of wood give me such a good workout. Shortly into this workout, my arms are burning, and when it hits full gear, I'm actually huffing and puffing. The pros are that it takes little equipment and it is easy to vary the intensity of the workout. You can get out of it exactly what you want to put into it. It's low impact, too. Yoga practitioners will notice some familiar terminology, and there is some crossover with a little martial arts or tai chi-type of forms. The cons? I can't really think of any.The bottom line, I have a little stack of workout DVDs, and I would probably easily give this DVD an award for being the most unique video in my entire collection. Like I said, it is a legit workout. The hour flies by, you get a great workout, and yet you aren't totally wiped out when it is over. At least I'm not. Also, the DVD that I think would be extremely complimentary to this workout is, "Bodyweight Training: You Are Your Own Gym," by Mark Lauren. The reason I say this is because the ABX workout is done all while standing. Alternating the ABX workout with "Bodyweight Training," would probably be your ticket to visible abs (if you watch what you eat).

It's like she couldn't talk and do at the same time
wow I just sat there with my mouth open. Put it in to take part and couldn't stomach watching, let alone listening to Erin attempt to remember what she was suppose to say. It's like she couldn't talk and do at the same time. Very low class video. The guy she had with her, hmmm, I think he just started. I'm sure the exercises are worthwhile, but, ya no, not recommended.

Silly fun!
Okay, this workout is not for everyone - you need an open mind. I bought this workout based on reading the 5 star reviews from others. I previewed the workout to see what it was about and began to immediately think, wow, this is cheesy. The instructor has a killer body so that intrigued me and it was obvious that the guy in the background thought so as well. My husband, looked at what I was watching and asked if it was a stripper workout (yeah, definitely won't see him doing this workout). Somehow, I thought the workout was going to be 20 minutes or divided up so that it could be done in shorter time frames - it was 60 minutes long with a brief intermission 40 minutes into workout.Since I purchased this workout and in the back of my mind was thinking - hey, I wouldn't mind looking like Erin - I gave it a try. It was harder than I thought and I ignored the creepy guy stopping what he was doing to look at her butt and gritted my teeth with some of Erin's peppiness. I completed the hour long workout which is a challenge for me because I think I suffer from long exercise attention deficit (maybe that is the guy in the background's problem - he might have been, look "b**bs"). I felt great after the workout, my bum shoulder wasn't hurting and that night I immediately felt sore (usually it takes me a couple days to feel the effects of a workout). So am I going to do this workout again, yes - in the privacy of my room without my husband coming in to giggle and me. I actually liked the workout as silly as that sounds.Gave only 4 stars because it wasn't what I was looking for - I usually don't like 1 hour workouts and the quality of production is a little less than I'm accustomed to (would like a menu splitting up the two workouts). I don't think this is for everyone but it is something fun and different.

Really Incedible
I am 58.5 yrs. old. I am going back to exercise following an SI injury. I also have very bad shoulders, tight and painful. This is a great way to start exercises again. I am doing things here that I couldn't do before because of the careful stretching and use of the muscles. I am a RN and even have been to PT. This is far more effective for me. My back is doing much better and my shoulders are starting to loosen up. I can't address whether this is equivalent to a true weight lifting program, but for core exercises it is wonderful. I used to do Yoga and Pilates before my injury and just could not find anything that worked me they way those did, but just couldn't tolerate the extremes after my injury. Yes, she's cute and she's sexy, but for me, she is helping me slowly and carefully build back much farther with my core, shoulders and low back than anything else I could find. I've got a library of exercise tapes and this has been extremely beneficial.

This is not the greatest DVD I find some of the stuff to be highly annoying. I like Erin's attitude, and I don't mind the attire as so many have complained, I just don't find these moves to be that much of a challenge. Yea keeping engaged can be a challenge, but yea this isn't all that great. Not to mention I don't have time for a 30 minute warm up session.
