Q: i'm 5'11 170 like a 33 waist what size should i get..i like it a little big?

I have the size "large" shirts and they are 24" across lying flat at the arm pits, therefore 48" diameter. They don't taper so they are 48" at the waist also. 30' long from top of neck on the back to the bottom.

Q: i received xl. they are advertised as big and tall. shouldnt the tag say xlt?

The tags on my shirts did day xlt.

Q: I just wanted to know the material from the T-shirts is thick or thin. that's the whole question. worried about the local climate. LaCoste t-shirts

The material is a typical t-short thickness. I can easily wear as an undershirt or as a t-shirt. I hope that gives you an idea.

Q: I'm 6' 1'', 180lbs, not particularly wide. What size would people recommend?

If you want a relaxed fit as shown in the photo with a model, go with extra large. I'm 5'11" 240 lbs and I wear a 2XL for a comfortable relaxed fit. I could wear XL if I wanted a tight fit.
