It's heavy
Seems good straight out of the box. It won't look quite the same as the regular input. You'll need to adjust the picture on the TV itself to dial it in. Sharpness, Tint, Color, stuff like that. Once you do that, it's golden. We'll see if it lasts! That's the whole idea behind spending so much on an HDMI switch. Good luck to us both.

works perfectly..
works perfectly for HDMI multiviewer great and if weksel hdmi so fast that is great, you can look at 2 programs at the same time, you can look at 4 programs. Functioning super with me ,I have had this device for 1 year, everything is ok ++ even more options is even better but maybe in the future ..

It is a good security switcher but not good for viewing split screen
Easy to hook up. Hesitation between modes and inputs. Side by side cannot be sized to fit the screen. It will only scale the image which distorts the picture

I like it.
I bought it to use at work. I have 4 HDMI inputs to one TV leaving the TV inputs open. Its worked great for several months now. I use it everyday for 8 hours a day.I dont care for some of the modes but I just dont use them. I use the quad view and single view the most.

Got most of what I wanted .....
I was looking for a seamless switcher to feed an encoder for streaming video --- which is not exactly what the J-Tech was designed for. Whenever you use a device for something other than it's intended purpose, it's buyer beware. :)Here's what I found out: First the picture quality is pretty good. No complaints. Of course I was feeding it from two camcorders so it wasn't exactly the most challenging test.Second: There was some kind of HDMI handshake incompatibility with two of my three capture devices. My monitor showed the J-Tech output, and my Magewell USB capture did bring a picture into the laptop. However, neither the Teradek Cube nor the Inogeni USB3.0 would show any picture at all.So I hooked the output of the J-Tech to a KanexPro DA and guess what ... both Teradek and Inogeni were happy. (see picture 1). I'm not an HDMI specialist ... I guess there was some kind of handshake incompatibility.Third: Referring to picture 2, you can see that in some multi-view modes, rather than place bars around a picture and maintain the aspect ratio, the device squeezes video to fit the box. Notice that the mouse is distorted. I am not using the multi-display mode for webcasting but if that's important to you, then keep it in mind.Fourth: The switching was smooth enough that none of my capture devices reported a loss of signal. That was my primary concern and I can say that yes indeed, the switching is seamless and really quite fast. I'd estimate less than 200 milliseconds.I like the fact that you can lock the audio output to a single source, but I didn't test it so can't report on results. In case the manufacturer is reading this ... what I would like in a firmware update, is that you can switch video sources, not just audio, from the numbered buttons, so you don't have to cycle through all four inputs. It would be very nice to select input 2, then 4, then 3 ... or whatever ... Should be easy enough to do.Also, the only "on / standby" control is on the remote. It was not clear to me that the unit could be turned on or off from the front panel. If the battery in the remote dies, or you lose the remote, can you still turn it on and off? I didn't test that but it seems safer to put an On/Off switch somewhere on the actual unit.Update: The unit is no longer working ... I only get a blue screen output.

Seems to function with gaming systems only.
Did not fulfill our needs, no software to work with computer. Now stuck with it sitting in a box.

Great video, audio didn't work
The HDMI output looks great! I use it as a seamless switch for a church A/V system and there is no noticeable latency from it! Easy to use buttons on the box itself which is great. The VGA line is connected to a monitor and looks smeary (not sure it'll it's the monitor as it was one I had in the closet, and haven't used VGA on it before) but the biggest bummer is that the 3.5mm audio output doesn't work. Not sure why, but by the time I tried it, the return period was over so i just couple it as a loss.
