400pcs 3mm Small Safety Eyes for Crocheting Plastic Doll Eyes with Washers for DIY

The eyes look great! The backs are extremely hard to get on, but that is expected with super small safety eyes. I was making baby mice for my daughter, and the backings were actually bigger than the baby mouse heads, so I just put the eyes in and covered them in gel superglue from the inside. They don't seem to be going anywhere and look great!

Nice, but I'd definitely plan on glueing them in. Super tiny! They came with a small metal loading cylinder to help you hammer them into their backings, which I appreciated, but never got to work (NOTE: I didn't adequately test, my project wouldn't allow hammering - verdict still out) Gluing worked well, but obviously isn't a solution if giving your creation to a child.

I was really disappointed that the washers would not go on the backs of these safety eyes. They are super small, so very difficult to hold on to while trying to attach the washer. I ended up having to take a nail file to the safety eye to make it sharper and then using needle nose tweezers to squeeze the washers on. Once I finished one, I gave up. I decided to buy a larger size. Total waste of time and effort with these little demon spawn gadgets!

They are tinier than expected (I know they are 3mm but still). It came with a metal cylinder piece that I don't have a clue about what it is for.

I bought them because I needed this size. The safety backs Do Not Fit!

The backing is so tight. I cannot get the back on without breaking it. I would not buy these again.
