A couple of the cans were a little dented but not badly. Didn't affect the taste. Very good! Will be buying more in the future.

Black beans are a staple. I use this in taco shells to plain heated. Or, on rice, mix in seasonal veggies. It's delicious.The only issue I made a mistake about is organic preference. So switched to pinto.These mixed with panko bread crumbs following recipe online make awesome black bean burgers.I use to use yogurt lids to freeze patties. Now, bought a rubberized patty kit.These are delicious any way served.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

Good quality and tasty

These are best-in-class refried lowfat black beans (I've tried many.) The product is GREAT. Unfortunately if cans arrive dented, there's no return or refund option because of Amazon policy. My first two orders were fine. My third order arrived with three cans so deeply dented that they are inedible and unsafe according to USDA food safety policy. I will buy these again because they're a great product and shipping mishaps are just part of life. But I think it's pretty reprehensible that Amazon won't make it right after their packaging choices led to damage on my full-price items. It was not the beans' fault and was definitely not mine.

These refried black beans are as good as the ones we get at our favorite restaurants. Black beans have more flavor than the pinto beans and buying these in bulk was cheaper than the per can price at the store.

We have ordered these beans before and are very happy with the taste and quality. We have had dented can in the batch before, but this last shipment was particularly damaged. It seemed to be packaged well, with the cans shrink-wrapped together with a cardboard base. It appears that the cans were damaged prior to packaging, not during shipping. The cans in the middle were in the worst shape, even though that ought to have been most protected. I am disappointed that Amazon clearly sold dented and damaged cans without revealing that in the description. Of the 12 cans, none were perfect. Three were only slightly dented; the rest all had at least moderate denting, and a few of them were dented enough at the rim that I do not feel it would be safe to eat. I am a huge Amazon shopper, and I expect better quality than this. I am giving 3 stars because the product itself is quite good, but I am very dissatisfied with the way they arrived.
