Keep it secure
Easy to setup and small enough to hide. The safe comes with two ways to access your belongings a barrel key and a key pad to input the code that you setup. The steel is thick enough to deter someone from trying to crack it open.

Happy with my purchase
Works well. Yes the safe isn't going to stop someone from being able to access your pistol with some tools and a bit of effort. But it will allow you to keep the pistol at the ready while keeping small hands from gaining access without you knowing about it due to the alarm. The alarm could also be a deterrent if someone were to break into your home and try to steal the box. Happy with my purchase.

For the price, it's okay for its intended use.
The unit itself is relatively compact, but has enough space to fit my revolver, a few boxes of ammunition, and a few important documents. Batteries are replaced from the inside when the unit is opened, and it comes with two manual keys for entry if the batteries have died or if you've forgotten the combination. The "anti-theft" alarm does work as intended -- it's pretty loud and will wake anyone in the vicinity up if it goes off.Despite the alarm, it's still probably possible to force it open with a large crowbar and chisel and some effort (and time), so it's not going to secure against a determined attacker. To be fair, though, that's not really its intended usage. If you're away from the location and need to resist a burglary, you probably want something stronger and intended to be bolted into the ground. This keeps my firearm within immediate reach, while securing it against a casual searcher or a younger, curious child who hasn't learned to throw things off a second story balcony onto a parking lot to weaken it. As others have mentioned, the keys make a beeping noise when being pressed unless the stealth mode is activated, and that stealth mode has to be re-enabled after each opening. If your unit is 2 feet away from the target that might be something to be worried about, but in an emergency it's mostly irrelevant. I actually prefer the beep because then I know I've successfully pressed the combo buttons. The *LAST* thing you want is for the code alarm to go off, which is *certain* to draw attention. This replaces a locked cloth bag hidden away that I'd used for complying with CA storage laws. I'm satisfied with the tradeoff, as I can now keep my unit more "openly" near my bedside and overall access is quicker.

Good strong box , NOT A SAFE.Perfect for nite stand.
!st you should understand fortress alarming quick access safe . Is more of a keep the kids away from my loaded night safety weapon. Not a place to keep it away from thieves. Bought this for my wife when I work late nights. She was able to program in just a few minutes without issues. Yes it is a bit loud when it opens. Not really a issue , because when I am working she opens it before bed and it is ready. Then locks it back in the morning. It has plenty room for her Walthers 9 m auto and several full clips. I think its a very nice little strong box, But I would never classify it as a safe. If you need a gun safe buy a 300 lb wall or floor safe. If you need a bedside strong box this does a fine job.

Roomy and solid
There's nothing better than knowing your firearm is secure. This safe does goes a long way for that. It feels solid without being heavy. The front door latches securely and is spring loaded when opening. There's a small shelf inside to give more surface to lay things on and the locking mechanism feels nice and heavy (secure). It comes with mounting holes on the bottom and even had screws inside to secure it. I was able to put a medium sized 9mm, 2 clips and 100 rounds on the bottom shelf without any issue. I placed my ownership papers on the shelf.Pros:Digital and keyless entryPadded bottomTamper alarmDecent roomCons:Shelf not paddedDesigned to be mounted on a flat surface. Wall mount possible but it would be silly.

Satisfied
All it is described to be. Very satisfied for the price, holds my Ruger and 4 magazines perfectly.. It does not come with a steel cable to secure around a structure.

Safe is OK at best! The front door will work its way to one side or the other, then become difficult to open. Initial findings was the key and combination would work without problem however, the door would not budge. This was a concern until I discovered the door would "bind" when allowed to be pushed to one far side of the hinge pin or the other. Although this problem was solved, it remains a possible problem when needed in the future. Other than this problem, everything was as stated, as ordered.

No issues - Well Built
Not sure about the complaint regarding battery life. Time will tell, but the door opens quickly every time. Well built, doesn't have the security trick issues that many of the others do. I would recommend it.
