Awesome tactical pen. This has become my favorite out of my large collection. This is where S&W tactical gear really shines. I have rarely found any tactical pens that are more well made and for real hard work. This is really made for emergency situations and it’s really just a great buy with tactical style. If you have become a true fan and collector of tactical pens... get this one for the top shelf or for your glove box and case!

This is an awesome pen my only complaint is the ink refills are small but other than that it is exceptional. So much so I bought my wife one for when she goes out shopping.

This is my first Tactical Pen. Very well built. The glass breaker part looks well built too.The only complaint i have is the Ink Cartridge - Holy crap is it small. Not sure how long it will last, but you will want to have spares at home and in you bag. With the size of the pen's housing, I'm not sure why S&W didn't use a larger ink like the Write in the Rain one used buy others.Seems like they designed this more for Cops and the like who always have access to their office or patrol car storage for extra ink, ect. I was buying these pens for all my friends and relatives at my local gun shop. When I discovered that Amazon was less expensive, I decided to buy them on Amazon.

One a recent trip to visit my father in Utah I had some problems on the road. I was driving through Monticello, UT and was on the road at the WRONG time of morning. I managed to miss most of the deer...but I hit one and it was pretty bad. My SUV died.The car was towed and I waited over 4 hours for my dad to drive from Lindon, UT to pick me up. The tow truck driver never answered the phone when my dad got me so we could get my stuff out of the car...we couldn't wait and I couldn't leave my stuff...the distance was just too great to drive back.I had to break the window to get my stuff using a really light weight tool thing (I can't remember what it was) that my dad had in his car....but it was REALLY HARD.I had never tried to break a car window before.When I finally made it home (we bought me a different vehicle because in 2 weeks we were never able to get the tow truck driver to answer the phone) I decided that my husband and I both needed glass breakers.We decided to try these first...bought black and OD Green...and the pen functionality is great. My husband loves the pen part and finds it very comfortable to write with. I really like the pen, but it is a little sharp around some of the edges so it hurts a bit if I need to do more than just sign a cc receipt.Sadly we have yet to have a chance to test the glass breaker part. I will update my review as soon as I am able to test it out.

Awesome product and a great writing pen

I leave this pen in my SUV as a back up. Feels good in hand and the color/build are great! I haven’t tested the glass breaking tip yet...
