BlueBonnetBetaine HCI Plus Pepsin Vegetarian Capsules, 90 Count

I've never had an issue with this brand. I take these at the end of my meal, and I noticed a definite difference, especially with harder to break down foods. I have bought several bottles over the years, and have never had an issue.

I have found this Bluebonnet Betaine HCL Plus Pepsin very beneficial! I basically taken one with each high protein meal. Some days I take only one capsule and some days two, depending on my meals. It has helped my digestion immensely! I highly recommend this supplement!

I have tried another well-known, high quality and expensive brand. They did not work as well as this brand does. We use it for stomach upset. 1 capsule for mild upset. 2 or more for upsets that are more severe (such as vomiting). In fact, I had a friend who ended up in the bathroom vomiting when we were on an outing. She was over an hour from home and not able to drive back b/c of this. I pulled out two of these from my portable first-aid kit. She took them with water (when that particular vomiting session had stopped). 15 minutes later, she felt like a new person and was able to enjoy the rest of her day. Immediately, this became a part of her own medicine cabinet (both at home and in her purse). I keep a couple bottles in our home and a small container in my vehicle at all times.

This is a high-quality product. I believe that it is aiding my digestion and absorption of nutrition.

A friend recommended this product to me to help with digestion and there were not so many negative reviews. I wanted to love it but it did not work for me, it made me break out in cystic acne on my chin that I haven’t had it over 10 years. That’s usually a sign of hormonal gut imbalance, if that’s your past take with caution as it could happen to you. I’ll never know if it truly works as it wasn’t worth ruining my face over.

I LOVED this product. I had such a difficult time digesting food and this digestive aid worked miracles for me!! Cleared up all issues I was experiemcing so I can live better with low acid. I recommend this product to anyone that has similiar digestive issues!!

This makes it obvious that it is a vegetarian capsule on the front of the bottle leading people to believe the product is vegetarian but it isn’t. I contacted the manufacturer after purchase and confirmed the pepsin is pork derived. I’m severely allergic so I’m fortunate that I had second thoughts after purchasing and reached out. They were quick to respond which is appreciated. The product needs to be labeled properly regarding the pork derivation to prevent people from being misled and possibly harmed by taking it.
