Works exactly as expected. Only downside was that it wasn't fitted with the 1/4 pcl type air fitting.Excellent value for money.Confirmed minimum piston ring loss. No valve leakage.

Great bit of kit. Works well and honestly great value for money. I've had this a while and finally had a couple of uses for this and it has helped with diagnostic process on engines. My biggest draw backs are 2 things. First thing would be the adapter for airline connection. I did have to change it out as its not a typical airline adapted for the UK. And second thing would be there were no instructions for use which I find would have been very useful. I had to do some research on how this tool works in order to use it. But overall great tool and works really well

What used to be an expensive bit of kit has become very affordable giving the diy mechanic a very useful diagnostic device

The tester was simple enough to operate, however, on first use while setting the gauges to zero, the pressure regulator "blew apart". The plastic control knob had sheared from it's holding therefore making re-assembly impossible. Returning to Amazon. A little off-putting seeing as most of the items listed appear to be exactly the same, so I am somewhat hesitant to purchase another from here.

I needed this leak-down tester to diagnose a potential cylinder head gasket failure.One of the main uses for a tester like this is to pressurise a cylinder and then listen for air leaks. Unfortunately, the connecter between the gauges and the spark plug fitting leaked out of the box, meaning it was difficult to ascertain where the air noise was coming from.Also, be aware that the included airline fitting is not compatible with PCL-type airline fittings. If you use PCL fittings you'll need to buy a PCL adaptor.

Fast delivery haven't used it yet but seems to be good quality.
