My First Book of Baby Animals

I am a speech language pathologist, and I like to give new mothers a collection of baby's first books. They have to have real photographs with one picture per page and be made of sturdy cardboard. This book was perfect!

The book is smaller than most children’s board books, which was okay since it actually wouldbe nice for my granddaughter’s little hands. Not so fine is that the Amazon price was $2.93 whilethe list price printed on the book was $1.99. Not a big deal but odd for Amazon book pricing.But the real reason it’s being returned is because several of the pages are glued together. Poor quality.

I paid $3 for a book with a $2 price tag.. oh well. My main issue was that the book uses advanced words that would be silly to teach a baby. For example, instead of just baby horse” it says “baby foal”, and “kit” instead of “baby bunny”. I want my baby to be linguistically advanced, sure, but this is just going to confuse a very young child. Otherwise? It’s very cute. The size is perfect for my baby, and as expected since the photo clearly says how big it is.

Smaller than expected, but that is my fault for not reading the description thoroughly. The animals are really cute and photos or actual animals, which baby and I like. The specific baby animal names are geared toward older toddlers - for my infant I’m just building visual and auditory familiarity. This is perfect for what we use it for!

This is a cute book. It is very small in size and I was a little shocked by this. The book itself is only 3 inches by 3 inches. I'm not sure if this was in the book description or not. Still a cute little book and I don't regret the purchase for the price.

Great, colorful pictures of actual animals. I especially like the "one animal per page" approach for little ones. Clear and simple. The book is palm sized, perfect for young babies and for carrying in a baby bag.

While this book is cute, it is TINY! Like baby hand size tiny. It is also being sold for about a dollar more than the price on the back. Not worth it.

The book has big and birght pictures in each page with white background. The wordings are also clear. It's tiny and it's apt for the babies, since they can handle it easily. For displaying pictures to your baby, it is good. Pros: 1. Hard cover pagesCons: 2. Less number of animals3. Size is pretty small

Looks like used book is sold, as if it was returned by someone. Not happy with the purchase. Plastic coating in the book had come out when I got it
