Renewed wonderfully
Was skeptical about purchasing a renewed Panasonic handset, but this 4 handset set works like new. The previous 4 handset landline telephone system was also made by Panasonic and it held up for 15 years. This Panasonic set has lots of great features and easy to set up.

Just got these a day early, also.
Working on programing, which Panasonic gives nice directions on, but a bit difficult to figure out, understand.

Good phones.
I like the intercom feature. Now if someone is downstairs we can use the intercom and it's great. Battery life is decent, speaker phone is good and this is the longest I have own a set of cordless home phones. Panasonic is great for phones and vacuums!

Excellent value, easy to read display, nice intercom phone-to-phone feature.
Needed to replace a multi-receiver household landline phones. Ours were over 15 years old and batteries were dying in all of them and replacement were unavailable. Things I prioritized in selection were value, clarity of display, ease of use and intercom feature. Recently we added our senior citizen mother to our household. She expressed difficulty in viewing the information on the old phones being replaced. The display on these receivers have large, bold and easy to read font. We use the intercom feature to speak to one another on different floors of the house and this feature is easy to use. I have never purchased a refurbished product before but since we use the phones so very little I thought I would take a chance for the value this product appeared to present. When i received the phones, I would never have known they were a refurbished product. All instructions, batteries, cables included and packaged as if new. The handsets appear new with protective packaging. One advantage to these phones is they use standard AA batteries that are included and easily replaceable. The clarity of conversation when using the phones is very good. The features of the answering machine are fairly standard and easy to use.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, DISHONEST 3RD PARTY SELLER, SHAMEFUL EXPERIENCE WITH AMAZON
Bought from 3rd party seller through Amazon offcourse. Worst panasonic handset ever bought. (1) handsets died now and then, right between a call even though had lot of charge. (2) alarm doesn't go off all the time. (3) charge for 7 hours notification doesn't go off all the time. How can you live with such a defective product. Despite of all this reasons claimed to seller " GOOD AS NEW ELECTRONICS" before 30 days, denied to refund. Then Amazon claimed triggered and seller issued 1/2 refund with 50% restocking fee ? Isn't it amazing, 50% restocking fee on renewed item ? Only possible in Amazon Marketplace but not with any other online reputable ecommerce marketplace. CAN IT FALL IN A CRIMINAL CATEGORY ? DON"T KNOW. IT IS A SHAME AND EQUALLY DISGRACEFUL HOW AMAZON HANDLED THE SITUATION. AMAZON HANDLED THE ISSUE VERY CARELESSLY. AMAZON DOESN'T FOLLOW THE POLICIES AND AS A BUYER/CONSUMER i HAVE TO SUCK IT UP WITH PROMOTIONAL MONEY(Kinda store credit) NOT A REGULAR REFUND TO MY BANK INSTITION. IN A CONCLUSION, I WILL DRY UP BUSINESS WITH AMAZON SLOWLY.

If house is old don't get phone service through cable company
Our cable company (Cox) said we had to upgrade our phone equipment. Well, our house was built in 1959 so before they came we had 5 jacks, after they left we had 1 jack. So much for upgrade. The satellite phones have static so I try use the main one that is hooked into the cable box. They tell us we have analog lines so that is why. Well there are a lot of houses in Phoenix that are older so they are going to have that issue to deal with. They will run new wiring but not fish through the walls, but externally from the outside. They don't go into attics. Don't know if I want that. So for right now we are living with it. May just cancel and rely on our cell phones. They came out 3 times and we really wished we had ignored the letter about the mandatory upgrade. All we got was a new cable box we have to pay $10 a month for and previously we had owned the equipment.
