What can I say, when you need one you NEED one.
Fits very tightly as I had hoped for. Going over cast iron pipe, which has a rough outside surface, it is important to have a tight fit. It was a good 3/8" smaller than the pipe surface. It didn't want to stretch over the surface in the cold very well, so in my desire to radically shorten the time needed to spend in the crawlspace (flooded from the gray water leak), I preheated the rubber in a pan of hot water for about 5 minutes after dramatically loosening up the clamps. Sometimes I just impress myself! In honesty, not often, but I have my moments. That thing slipped over the cast iron almost effortlessly! Once the clamp was tightened, no more leaks and it was Miller time! Seriously, don't try to stretch it cold. Warm it up and you can completely prevent the French lessons and the potentially "blue" air as well as the potential damage to the rubber collar.
