Just what I wanted for my four-year-old pre-K grandson. However, I was disappointed that it promised "Project ideas inside" and there were none.

My kindergartner loves to write stories and journal her thoughts and experiences. She was always taking my printer paper and stapling them together making me a "book" about something. So I bought her this story drawing book and it is SO perfect! Before, I would have all of these loose pieces of paper laying around that she had drawn or written on, and I'd feel guilty (or would have to hide from her) throwing some away. These are spiral bound so there is not longer that problem. The paper quality is much better, like a sketch pad, so my daughter feels like her drawings and writings are more important because they are on nicer paper in her special book. I gave it to her so she could journal her summer break. So each day she will write something about what she did and draw and color a nice picture to go with it. Now this book is something I can hold onto for her and look back on with her as she grows up.

This is a nice drawing book for kids who love to draw and write a story about it. The space for drawing and writing are almost the same. I find this book a bit pricey because it only has 30 pages and it is not spiral bound.

I am not sure why I thought this would be like a sketch pad with drawing prompts for my preteen son. It is not that. It is a blank page with the giant lines to encourage proper writing so that you can write below the drawing. I will not be returning because my 4 year old can certainly use, I just think the description could be more clear.

We are on our second drawing pad! My daughter is drawing beautiful scenes inside and making up stories. The book is also great to use for ABC’s. They can draw in the space provided and on on the lines she can practice her letters! Aa for apples, acorns, airplanes...

I am using this for enrichment with my home schooled first grader. He has just recently been interested in drawing and writing a narrative sentence. The paper is of good quality for drawing and coloring. The preprinted lines are perfect for writing a sentence or two about the drawing. My son likes using this book.

Nice personalized drawing and writing book. The lines for writing are too far apart. Good for a very beginner writer.

My daughter used this on our family road trip to draw pictures of the places we visited and write comments about the different stops we made. It's a good quality book and now it's a family memento that we can keep for years to come.
