Tamiya Models BT-7 Russian Tank

Great product and quality!

Great kit, lots of detail, with photo-etch and goes together effortlessly (like Tamiya kits do) and looks great when finished.

Another great model by Tamiya. I plan to update with photos my completed model.Shipping from Japan takes a long time, and there is no real tracking, but it arrived timely.Model is crisply molded, and will be a joy to build.

You know Tamiya is good, the newer mouldings better than the 1970's ones, but this is a cracker. Sharp edges, perfect fit lines and no flash whatsoever. Also, it makes a real change to do something that looks kind of Steampunky and cool and isn't just WW2 again. I find Russian 1930's stuff extremely interesting, and I see a trend emerging in manufacturers. How many Tiger 1 tanks do we need? (yes, I know I have built loads too and enjoyed them) A really nice change. Not too many bogies and boring suspension clutter as well. Splendid. (Attached, mid build, pre-weathering and touch-up)

Easy to build good quality materials

BT-7快速戦車の1935年型は砲塔が円筒形でハッチも単純な一枚板になってるのが特徴です。砲塔にハチマキ型アンテナを取り付けた指揮官型とアンテナ無しの通常型から選んで製作できます。転輪はポリキャップによる嵌め込み、履帯は部分連結組み立て式、ライトレンズはクリアパーツ、グリルメッシュ部分にエッチングパーツ付属しています。組立てだけなら半日で完成するほど組み立て易く、文句無しの傑作キットです。BT戦車はアメリカ人のジョン・W・クリスティーが設計したM1928戦車が元になっており、本国では陸軍の部外者で本人の性格が尊大なため採用されませんでしたが、ソ連からは注目され徐々に改良され続けました。1930年代にアファナシー・フィロソフ技師が中心となって開発していましたが、他の多くの技術者と同様、大粛清の対象となり、シベリアの過酷な強制労働で失意に打ちのめされ亡くなりました。最高速度は履帯で52㎞/h、装輪走行で72Km/hと機動力は申し分ありませんでしたが、装甲が薄く、ガソリンエンジンのため引火率が高く実戦で多数の損失を出し問題となっていました。

さすがタミヤ！良い出来のキットです。安価でディテールアップせずとも、ストレート組みで十分満足できる。

タミヤ1/35ミリタリーミニチュア　309作目、BT-7。このキットは非の打ち所が無い。エッチングパーツには治具がついているので作業がスムーズにできる。戦車兵と将校も素晴らしいモールド。将校のゴーグルは透明パーツ。仮組だけなら正味3日あれば終わる。値段はやや高めだが、値段以上の価値があるのは言うまでもない。塗装はグリーン一色。汚し塗装が作品の良し悪しを決めるだろう。初心者にも組みやすく、筆塗りでもいいと思う。入門用にも最適、ベテランモデラーにも最適。これぞまさに、「最高傑作」！！
