This product is worth every cent and more!!!!
I've been in this hobby for 40 years and this is the most amazing product I have ever used and believe me I've tried them all. 6 months ago I decided to try my hand at keeping sps corals so I set up a 34 gallon Cad lights all in one after a 1 month cycling period I added 2 1inch clown fish and have been battling high (40-60ppm)nitrate levels ever since.I've had my poor fish on a starvation diet and have been doing twice weekly 20% water changes with no luck. While watching youtube looking for some suggestions I stumbled across the videos for this product and decided to give it a shot(whats another 240.00$$ in this hobby). In 1 week this filter brought my nitrates to 0!!!! I am so happy, now I can start adding corals. I had just about given up hope. This product is very easy to set up and maintain.I would pay double for this filter!! water is crystal clear and the fish seem very happy to be living in a nitrate free environment.

Great product just be sure to not only monitor the connections for leaks but the main filter body.
Unit leaking from body; arrived to day at 6pm installed by 6:20pm unit begins to leak instantly from cap assembly where it threads into the base from the start with effluent valve fully open (without placing back pressure on it from the valve); flooded my base cabinet in my red sea 250. I was more concerned with the lines leaking never did I expect the main body to have a leak. Needless to say I am not excited at the moment about this product; I have contacted the reseller to resolve the problem.Update 4/24/2013:CSR shipped a replacement quickly (not at all what I was expecting). It arrived last night and worked just as expected. They mentioned the rubber O-ring that seals the head to the body maybe defective.

I had to thrash it after 6 months of meticules care and very poor results.
Did not work well. The drip changed by itself continuosly causing it to fail after weeks of getting it to produce a little reduction. Then caused an algae bloom of a kind I could not identify.I had to thrash it after 6 months of meticules care and very poor results.

Nitrates reduced
First, let me say that this product did no harm to my salt-water tank. When I installed this product, none of my fish died.I was having an issue with high nitrates levels even with weekly water changes. This product reduced my nitrates levels to a very low level.I was hoping that this product would solve my algae problem since high nitrates are often the cause for excessive algae. Sadly, reducing the nitrate level did not solve the algae problem for my aquarium.

works great
I had 80-100 ppm of nitrates in my 55 gallon fresh water aquarium, knocked the nitrates down to less than 10 in 10 days. now 20 days in and nitrates are 0-5. squirt 5ml of vodka in twice a week and good to go... I vary the flow as required... I highly reccomend this product if you have high nitrates. eliminates water changes.. fantastic...

If you own a reef tank... buy it!
Great product. Easy to care for in terms of feeding the algae and adjusting flow rate. Product comes with well written instructions.

not worth the money
I bought one when they first came out they reduced nitrates some but overall not worth the money plus I think they are ridiculously overpriced

Revive Aquaripure Filter sitting in my storage
Flushed with 2.5 gallons R/O water removing all stinky old water sitting in the filter for years. Injected with Fritz Zyme 9 Live nitrifying bacteria the whole 32 oz. bottle in the dark. Nitrate = zero after 2 days. I got a Red Sea Max 250 with 2 purple tangs, 1 yellow tang, 1 Atlantic blue tang, 1 Naso tang, 1 Tomini tang, 1 clarki, 3 different damsels and 11 blue chromis, 100 saltwater ghost shrimps, sps, lps, soft corals, sponges and gorgonians. I also use Bulk Reef Supply GFO reactor and Fluval G30 filter. These 3 filters plus the eshopps proteing skimmer are the only ones I am using and no refugium. I am using Chemi pure blue in my Fluval G30.
