CLIPSULIN Most Accurate Insulin Pen Dose Recorder & Bluetooth-Enabled Diabetes Log Book | Store & Track Dosage, Date & Time of Injection | Works with Diabetic Reusable & Disposable Insulin Pens

I purchased this product as an alternative to InPen (because $800 out of pocket is just way not affordable!). So I didn’t have any disposable insulin pens when I got it, so I just wanted to try it out while I waited for my rx. I attached it to my Novolog Echo pen, but unfortunately, that wasn’t one of the options available (you have to choose what pen you’re using from a list), so I just selected the Novolog Pen (disposables) instead. My Echo doses in half units, however, so it wasn’t entirely accurate for that pen. I wanted to switch pens just to play around with the app, but as it turns out, once you’ve selected a pen to attach InPen to, you can’t just change it. You have to contact customer service and...I don’t know after that, because I didn’t go that far with it. Especially after InPen offered me a significant discount on my InPen. So here’s the low-down:PROS1. I think this is a really great, affordable alternative to InPen, so that’s a plus2. The app is fairly well laid out, although I didn’t spend that much time in it given the fact that I couldn’t make it work with my EchoCONS1. You can’t just change the type of pen you’re using this on. That’s probably not a problem since most people don’t just go swapping insulins every other month, but it’s kind of an annoyance, honestly.2. This clips onto your pen, so it’s not as compact as the pen itself (which also isn’t that compact)Overall, I’d like to spend more time with this product and get to know it better—I think it has great potential. I’d like to see the app tweaked a bit in later iterations.

The CLIPSULIN makes logging my insulin dosages seamless and simpler than ever. One of the most useful features is that all of my logs can be linked to the Apple Health app. This completely eliminates the need for a manual logbook, as the CLIPSULIN paired with the DIABNEXT app makes manual logging unnecessary. I highly recommend this to all diabetics who find manual logging too tedious as I found it to be.

I received clipsulin a month ago. What a difference it makes! It works well with my Sanofi Solostar pen. All I did is clip the device to my pen, then I connected it to my iphone via the DIABNEXT app and now I am able to have all the data on my phone whenever I need it. Great product.

Love love this product because it automatically tracks my doses and then loads up into an online notebook. This has enabled me to not have to think about writing it down which I was never good at doing. Easy to use but I had a question about the app and customer service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Se resbala todo el rato ,cuenta unidades de mas es una Chapuza no se lo aconsejo a nadie es tirar el dinero

Je l’utilise depuis plusieurs mois et finalement je ne lui mettrai que 2 étoiles.J’ai acheté ce dispositif pour m’assurer des quelques fois où j’oublie si j’ai fait ou non mon injection de lantus a 20h.Et finalement je m’en souviens un peu plus uniquement a cause de la présence de ce dispositif sur mon stylo d’insuline (car il est bien visible physiquement ) et du fait que j’appuie souvent sur son bouton. Ça le différencie de mes autres stylos de rapide sûr lesquels il n’y a rien à faire.Les problèmes :1. La liaison Bluetooth est approximative (ou sinon il faut bien penser a sortir de vieille son smartphone, un iPhone en l’occurrence, mettre en route l’application DIABNEXT puis attendre une dizaine de secondes que les données soient transférées… pas très userfriendly2. Mais le plus gros soucis c’est que si on appuie pas sur le bouton du dispositif et que la led verte ne s’allume pas, le dispositif DIABNEXT montre bien les unîtes défilés mais ne les retient pas en mémoire. Et ça c’est sa grosse faiblesse. A partir du moment où le dispositif affiche les unités qui défilent, il devrait retenir en mémoire la date et l’heure de cette manipulation (même si le transfert avec le smartphone n’est pas effectué). Ça permettrait de forcer le transfert si on a vraiment un doute.Voilà, au final il m’aide un peu, mais une version 2 devrait vraiment corriger ces problèmes

1 de mes 2 clipsuline ne transmet plus ses infos, j'ai remarqué que lorsqu'il y a du bruit les valeurs grimpes toutes seules, je me retrouve à 80 sans avoir tourne la mallette,, avant ça je pense : Voila un produit très bien et que je recommande. J'ai eu une prise en main pas immédiate. Il faut comprendre le fonctionnement. Ce n'est pas compliqué mais bon. les doses se marque toutes seules grâce au "CLIC" qui se fait lorsque vous tournez la mollette de votre stylo. Mais si vous enlevez le capuchon cela fait un clic donc unité. Il faut juste mettre en marche l'appareil après avoir retiré le capuchon. la synchro avec le logiciel Diabnext se fait facilement. DIABNEXT se clipse facilement sur mon stylo. Fini les oubli et ne plus savoir si l'on a fait sa piqure et combien. Je recommande ce produit et espère que les développeurs le feront encore évoluer. Seul point négatif : le design (mais ce n'est pas important). J'oubliai les boutons sont simples et le cadran est visible et bien placé.

Good for loging date and time and and units of injection.Unfortunately I find it too big and awkward to keep on the pen when doing the actual injection.As a work around, I detach it from the pen during injections and clip it back on the pen when finished.

The media could not be loaded.  2ième ANNULE ET REMPLACEJe me suis débrouillé seul, pas d’aide du support client malheureusement, donc si dans le même cas , voici manip qui peut aider pour iOS => Effacer appli, faire un cold reset du tel (voir sur net sert à libérer RAM du tel) puis réinstaller appli, recréer un accès avec nouvel e-mail , attendre le code, et resyncroniser les clipsulinsNe marche PAS avec les CGM, ni avec Miaomiao sur freestyle libre ... raison du plantage à l’origine, n’arrive pas à suivre le flux de glycémies par HealthKitUtile quand ça marche mais perfectibleANNULE ET REMPLACEMalheureusement l’appli est en panne et tourne en rond ... après plusieurs échanges avec Diabnext... pas de solution... dommage car j’ai quand même acheté 3 clipsulins ...Ancien message :Clipsulin retient mes doses d’insuline même quand suis pas connecté à l’internet ! Génial et en plus permet de transmettre tout vers d’autres applis connectées par HealthKit... comme PredictBGL
