Bertello Propane Gas Burner Attachment

I ordered the oven and propane attachment together. the propane attachment appeared to be defective so I wrote directly to Napoli and asked if I could trade it in. Eric was quick with a response and shipped a new burner, which works perfectly! Much easier to use than wood for multiple pies (I usually make 2-4). Gets up to temp quickly and stays there. I think there is a technique to getting the char at the bottom w/o overcooking the top.Top service, great product that needs a little technique to get perfect pies. Glad I bought this!

Due to the convenience and how much I use my gas grill, it was a no brainer that I needed this attachment for the Napoli Pizza oven,. It is as easy as a gas grill, you can use the same propane tank and plugs right into the Napoli. Fire the pizza oven up and within minutes it is at 900 degrees. Very convenient, fast and easy to use, easy for grilling meats, veggies and of course pizza.

This is a nice upgrade to the pizza oven. It works really good and heats up the stone in about 10 minutes . it is easy to hook up and start. It is a very nice addition!

The gas burner works great. It heats the stone up fast and gives you a nice consistent flame. I use mine with wood so you will need the wood tray for the gas attachment.This is a must if your going to be using your Bertello often and don’t want to have to deal with the heating up and maintaining temperature that you will have to do with wood only.Invest in the burner you won’t be sorry

Had trouble keeping the temperature of my pizza oven at a consistent level. I finally gave up and ordered the burner attachment. Couldn’t be happier. I can keep the temperature at a consistent level just by controlling the dial. My first burner didn’t work so I had to order a new one. My customer rep Eric was tremendous. He replaced the first one without any hassle and kept me up to date with emails on my order status.

As a first time purchaser of a pizza oven, I wanted to make sure I had as many options as possible to not screw it up. Wise choice on my part. My wife and I were eager to cook our first pizzas, but tentative about getting the wood burning aspect right. The propane burner was a tremendous option for easy cooking, and the pizza quality was INSANE! Having the flexibility of wood or propane is a choice I'm glad to have moving forward as we continue to use it. Highly recommend to anyone making the Napoli purchase.

For the gas attachment instructions ask for using a flame guard that is nowhere included neither from the burner unit itself or from this extra attachment. When using the oven it clearly gets red-hot at the top but barely warm at the front of the oven, confirming the guard is needed for more even spread of the heat. I escalate to the vendor inquiring the whereabouts of this guard and after 48hr still no answer whatsoever. I understand this until is not as expensive as others and so far does a descent -not great- job for high, uniform heat needed for pizza prep but this kind of little details really can mess up the whole experience and therefore the investment.

It doesn't always light properly, which causes use to lean in and check. Which usually results in a few fried eyelashes!
