I updated my chandelier with these new mercury glass shades. They are lovely. They look silver when the lights are off but they have a golden glow when the lights are on. I’m pleased with the quality and thickness of the glass. I ordered six and I got a pair of white gloves for handling them with each shade.

These are very pretty as other reviewers have noted. The quality is excellent. I couldn’t be happier! No negatives, only positives.

I like the shades; however, I ordered 2 and the finish is different on each. It is not a natural-type difference, that would be expected but rather looks like they were finished with 2 different techniques or handcrafted by two different people. The mercury mirror is thick and swirled on one shade and thin and linear on the other. Fortunately, it is most noticeable when the lights are on and I do not turn these on too often. I will keep them because it is not worth the hassle of returning, but I would prefer that the pair be more similar--in either technique. The shape and size is perfect for what I needed and the look is elegant.

These are beautiful shades and came very well packed. They even included white gloves to use. I don’t know if it’s paint or mercury... but it’s gorgeous .clean with a soft damp cloth, don’t scrub, use common sense. Love them!! Adds an added layer of elegance to our newly remodeled kitchen .
