Dangerous practises with the plug, what does that mean for the rest of the machine?
I bought this cutter to work with 6mm steel, which I thought would be easy given the rated capacity of 12mm, but it struggled with 6 even at maximum current. 3mm was a messy cut and about the maximum I could achieve, which looking at the other reviews suggests it may have been a faulty unit. The connectors for the torch/switch on the front of the machine were loose and rotated in the housing when I tried to tighten them, it would need the machine opening up to access it from the back. However of larger concern was the fact that the UK plug had a thick copper wire soldered in place of the fuse and the fuse cover hot glued back into place. I only noticed this as the machine cut out and so my first thought was to check the fuse. This doesn't bother me so much as I'm using the machine in a new workshop where I know the wiring and circuits have capacity to handle greater current but I can't help but think that this could cause real issues in older properties. There's a reason plugs have a 13A max capacity; ship the machine with a 16 or 32A commando plug as required or leave it as a bare wire and leave people who know what they're doing to figure it out themselves. Shipping it with a hack already installed is just awful. If you need to get a job done I'd pass on this. If you know what you're doing with electricals and have time to mess about it might be worth a punt if you want to save some cash. I ended up returning it and ordering a different machine.

Good plasma for the price
Been using this for a few weeks, had some minor air leaks but all is good now, the machine works great for what I need it for, I opted for the pilot arc version and am very impressed for a 50amp plasma, I have cut up to 10mm steel, good value for money and good customer service, the only thing I would upgrade is the earth lead, apart from that it's a great little machine.

Waist of money !
Waist of money ! Tried it 4 times now ,can’t get it to even cut 3mm rhs . Been fabricator for 32 years and used lots of different plasma cutters . But nothing like this , I wouldn’t even use it for DIY .

Excellent Service and Technical Suppport
Althought the machine had a fault, the technical and sales team did a great job in trying to resolve it.
