I rarely give 5 stars but this little gizmo deserves it. We travel a lot overseas and use this for charging our phones, laptops, cameras, tablets....etc. We find the adapter is sufficient for our needs. We have two; one for charging and one for appliances. The adapter is better quality than the kits on the market. It saves luggage space. Also, with just one adapter to worry about I don't worry about leaving stuff behind. The only ding is in some countries due to the size of the adapter, it makes it hard to push the on/off switch to the 'on' position on the wall outlet (i.e. New Zealand has switched for their outlets). A small issues for a great product though.

Surprisingly sturdy and quick interchangeability Adapted all of our US equipment in Africa, Indonesia Singapore Korea. 4 USB ports are great. They are 2.1 and 2.4 amp. We found it charged faster to plug Apple charging block into outlet than USB. If outlets are worn like we found in Indonesia all adapters fall out of socket. This device fell several times hit tile floors but held up well. Someone crashed into it when plugged in in Seoul Incheon airport and sent it sailing but cords stayed in still works fine. Supplied a US 110 volt hairdryer and curling iron one at a time. Will buy again

First of all, this is an AC adapter, not an AC power converter. If you plug it in to a 120v outlet, you get 120v at the output. If you plug it in to a 240v outlet, you get 240v at the output. Many US electronics allow for that. For instance, if you plug the AC adapter for a US MacBook Pro or an iPhone into a 240v source, it will be fine. On the other hand, your razor or hair dryer will likely immediately burn itself out.OK, back to the review: this is a well constructed adapter that will plug into US, European, Australian, or UK outlets. You can then utilize the four USB ports, two of which are smart ports and all of which provide at least 2.1 Amps. The two smart ports are dependent upon the USB device, feeding out the current based upon feedback from the device; some USB devices have the ability to request a specific current, but in part this depends upon the inner workings of the power adapter so your mileage may vary here. In any case, all four USB ports can be used at once, and I had no problem charging two iPads and two iPhones simultaneously, all with good charging speed comparable to what I'd get with an iPad charger (the larger one, not the little cube that comes with the iPhone). You can also plug in an AC cord simultaneously, so while charging my four USB devices, I was able to plug in my MacBook and had no problems there either.Note that the AC for US plugs does not include a grounding prong, and the outlet built into the adaptor does not incorporate a grounding receptacle so three prong US AC plugs cannot be used without a separate adapter. The entire unit can handle 660w at 110v, so the vast majority of devices you're probably carrying internationally will work without difficulty. The adapter, once powered, has a small orange light (the color and intensity equivalent of an old-fashioned neon-lit light switch). The entire unit comes with a small zipped carrying case.Overall, this is much easier to use than the collection of adapters that I typically carry with me internationally, with the major advantage of allowing me to leave my pile of USB chargers home as well. The device is well designed and once you get the hang of which lever to push to get the appropriate plug, and how to switch among your choices, you'll be all set. A quick read of the one-sheet of directions before leaving the country is advisable as use isn't necessarily intuitive.

My husband picked this for our coming trip to Europe, because he said that this little thing is all we need for all the diff countries we'll be visiting and he's an electrician. Can easily fit in a luggage too.

Since I've purchased this power converter and USB outlet box, we have used it on many trips. So far, it has matched up to all the outlet types we've come across, which of course is not the entire spectrum of plug types and power levels. But this thing certainly does all the major plug/power types. The USB outlets provide fast charging (high power mode) for smart phones and tablets capable of accepting and regulating high power fast charging, I have been very pleased at the charging power and speeds from the USB outlets.PROS:* Very compact device. I've had several items like this over the years, and this is the smallest I've yet found - but it still has all the normal/common plugs and connectors for major US, European, and Far Eastern plugs that I've come across.* It has all the normal outlet and power levels covered, as I've said. Very cool for such a small power cube.* The LED is not blinding. You may shrug and say "so what?", but if you've ever had one of those USB power cubes with LEDs capable of taking satellites out of orbit if focused properly, you'll understand why I don't need a huge blob of light lighting up the ceiling or wall of my hotel room or bedroom when I'm trying to sleep. This is present, but not too bright, at least to me.* The different plug types lock into place once you slide them out, and you might well say "of course they do, how else can it work?" Well, I had a converter like this that relied on friction, and over time, friction failed. It was almost impossible to plug in, as the plug blades would slide back into the cube when the going got tough. This locking mechanism is both easy to use, and simple to unlock when putting it all away. Kudos for a simple but effective blade lock.* Modest price. It isn't free, but it's certainly not the costliest power converter/adapter out there. It's a bargain, if you take into account that you DON'T have to buy another $12-$20 USB charger on top of a power adapter, since it has 4 USB outlets. Great value, in my book.CONS:* Hmmm... Coming up blank here. If anything untoward develops, I'll edit this review to include it, but as of this writing, I really have no dings to mention. Time will tell.Really, this thing is head and shoulders above competing products I've had before. Having 4 USB outlets any time I use this thing is a godsend, in this day and age of a smart phone, smart watch or other "wearable", tablet, USB battery pack/recharger, Bluetooth headphones, and sometimes more. Most of these things have two, sometimes three, USB outlets. This one has four, and reigns supreme as far as I'm concerned.

I ordered this adapter for an upcoming trip. It seemed like a good quality device with many different types of plugs. I have high hopes for it meeting my needs while traveling.

ミラノ、フィレンツェ、ローマで使用しました。問題なく使えました。コンセントに本商品を指しっぱなしにしておけば、自由に電気製品やUSB充電を使えます。(チェックアウト時に忘れずに持って帰ること、電気製品は海外で使えるモデルであることに注意です)軽量かつコンパクトで、これ程便利であることに、購入して良かったと思いました。

ヨーロッパと南米に最近長期旅行に行きました。ホテルによってコンセントの型は異なりますが、本製品あれば心配要りません。またUSB口も複数あるため同時に色んな電化製品を充電できました。例：携帯、カメラ、ひげ剃り機などデメリットを強いて言うならば、大きすぎて折角コンセント口が２つあるのに本製品でもう片方のコンセント口が使用できなくなる事です。

様々な国に旅行するため、これまでは行く国ごとにプラグを用意して持参していましたが、こちらの商品を手にしてからは、どこの国に行くにもこれ一つで十分となりました。軽くてコンパクトなので持ち運びも便利ですし、何より4つの差し口があるため、海外のホテルで電源プラグが少なくても、スマホ、カメラ、充電バッテリー等を一気にUSB充電できて、非常に便利です。一つ、難点は、形がほぼ正方形なので、これを使うと横幅があるため、ほかの電源プラグに電源コードが差し込めなくなることもあります。時々、ホテルの電灯のプラグを抜いたりします。また、海外に行ってないときも、自宅でアメリカ、日本式にして、毎日使用してます。たくさんのデバイスの充電が一気にできるので大変便利です。毎日の生活に欠かせなくなったので、実はもう一つ、色違いで買いました。皆様にもおススメしたい一品です。
