Love the DHF
It’s a 27.5 x 2.5, exo+ casing. Using it as a rear tire (surprise) cause I wanted a 2.5” (max my frame will allow) and the dhr2, etc isn’t an option. I’d rather a dhr2 for more braking grip, but we all know dhf is a top 5 all around grippy tire, especially in greasy jank around my area. I’d rather have the rear size and casing I want in dhf tread vs an aggressor exo or a 2.4 dhr.Braking is still solid, no noticeable difference, though the front tire (dhf 27.5 x 2.8) definitely does most of the work.

Awesome!
Love these guys. My previous tires had lost their grip and I was sliding all over the place. Installed these and I hug the trails. No issues slipping out anymore. Great tires.

This tire is a great improvement over the specialized butcher as a front tire

Cracking after 1 year of riding
Tire has cracks all along the sidewalls after a year of riding, looks like the rubber is drying out, definitely not rock damage. I suspect this is not a real Maxxis tire or it is made incorrectly. For the price this is ridiculous, I've purchased Maxxis tires in the past (still have them) and never had this issue. 0/10.
