Western Vests Pattern

This pattern arrived quickly, for which I was grateful. The pattern is printed on fairly substantial paper--better than most commerical patterns, which are on tissue paper--and the vest has the nice, clean, western look I wanted. For someone with a certain amount of experience the directions are adequate, but I could not recommend this pattern for a beginner who would need more detailed step-by-step instruction. In that case they should go to Simplicity and start with one of their basic vest patterns and practice. I did change a few things, such as how to construct the pockets and how to attach the lining to the outer vest. I used other techniques that are easier and give-in my opinion-a nicer look to the finished product. I am undecided about using another product from the same company in the future, but probably would do so if the need arose for a vintage western pattern.

it's very nice, but I think a bit over my skill level (I do leather work, and have constructed a few nice pieces from scratch but this I am afraid will not be among them.

Made a western style vest for my son's wedding. The fit was perfect and the pattern instructions were easy to follow.

Just what I wanted. Pattern came quickly and I was very pleased. This type of pattern is hard to find and I have ordered several from this company. Will certainly order again.
