Bought this to mount my phone on a monocular/spotting scope for a shooting range session. However, I could not make the mount to take a tight enough grip to my monocular. The clamping mechanism need you to turn the lock lever/nub to make a just close enough tightness before you flip the lock lever so it will make a tight clamp to the monocular eye piece. Problem is the lock lever will only be tight if it flip it upwards so you would need to turn the nub full turn during setup. I can never get the clamp to grip tight enough to hold on to the monocular or its too tight that if i flipping the lock it'll will crush my eye piece.

Very tough to get to clamp to the eyepiece for our microscope. The weight of an iPhone seems to be too much for the tenuous clamping we could get. If you get it just right, and don’t touch it thereafter, it can work. We ended up going with another more expensive option, that will get what we need for teaching microscope skills.

Great for a telescope NOT A RIFLE SCOPE

The product feels solid, love the suction cup and cramps all around a nice product.

Extremely hard to line up camera with eye piece, and attach to phone at same time: need more than two hands.

Not sure yet.
