It Works
Made my Board look new ๐ค

Definitely worth it; essential piece of surf equipment (comes with a comb, too!)
The Pickle Wax remover is *amazing*. I previously (like a chump) had been cleaning wax off of my boards with an old credit card and paper towels (and sometimes a heat gun when it was cloudy out, which occurs often where I live), and could never get that "brand new" shine that I've seen other people achieve, instead having a thin layer of blurry wax left on my board. I decided to try the pickle, even though I didn't like the idea of a solution that involved chemicals (I've heard it's either fiberglass or Styrofoam dust, but in either case I don't really want to breathe it in), and was impressed by the results: basically my board looked brand new. The wax comb it comes with is pretty nice too. It can take awhile to clean a board off (plan on 30 minutes or more for a longboard). Generally you need to scrape most of the wax off with the comb and then come back over everything with the pickle. The more wax you leave on the board, the more wax and dust shavings build up around the board, and possibly your floor. I'd recommend putting down a drop-cloth or some cardboard before going to work -- the shavings that land on my concrete garage floor are near impossible to sweep up (they stick). Definitely don't do this inside. If you're selling a board, I highly recommend grabbing one of these and removing the wax before taking pictures of it; I suspect you can ask for a slightly higher price for a wax-free board. I actually carry an old one of these in my car (the dust eventually all comes out and the pickle gets smaller and smaller until it needs to be replaced) to remove any wax on the bottom or rails of my board as I wait for the folks I surf with to get ready. I've bought a couple of these, and will probably keep buying them. Essential piece of surf equipment, I clean off my boards every couple of months.

Easy, Effective, Re-Useable. Awesome.
I don't write many reviews, but I've been taking wax off surfboards for a long time (20+ years), and this thing is perfect. I've never seen a board look so brand new. Directions: 1) Warm the top of your board in the sun for 3-5 minutes. 2) Use wax comb to scrape wax off board. Remove as much as you can with the comb. 3) Bring board back into the shade and rub this pickle on top of it. Every last bit of remaining wax comes right off and creates these tiny and dry, sandy wax beads that brush right off the board. Selling a board? This wax pickle will make it look brand new. Note: Added bonus. The wax comb that comes with this pickle thing is also a far better wax comb than the one I've used for years. Honestly, I was highly prepared for this thing to be yet another gimmick-type product. Nope. The guys that created this thing deserve to make a lot of money. Pay the $10. Keep this thing forever. Just awesome.

Way Easier
Easily removes the last wax residue from your board. My son used to use a towel to do this, but now my towels are safe. We have used The Pickle for 2 years before writing this review. We let the board sit in the sun until the wax softens, scrape it off with a wax comb, and then use the pickle to remove any residual wax. Donโt be afraid to rub hard, the harder you rub, the easier the wax comes off. The mesh lining actually holds up pretty well. It will become ugly, but it will continue to work for a long time.

Works Very Well
The comb and the pickle work very well, however it did take me two hours to do one half of the board. Iโm not sure if Iโm using it incorrectly, but it does work with lots of elbow grease.

Great stuff
Well I first saw this item on boardlady.com who is lady who is AMAZING at any epoxy repair (boats, boards etc.) Naturally if she endorsed it, I thought I would give it a go. Well I looked up other reviews first and have only heard good things. This thing works pretty well, forget leaving board out in the sun and waiting for the wax to soften up to wipe it off with a towel, or trying to take the edge of a wax comb and removing the little bit of wax out of small pressure dings. (remember those days?) Just take this thing and rub it all around and it removes the wax whether the wax is hot or cold. It has kind of small grains or powder inside that slowly come out as you wipe and it's these little granules that remove the wax effectively without scratching your board. Kind of like a thousand small wax removers working at once. Seems like the manufacturing cost would be pretty low (like a use a soft granule of some kind and just stuff it in.) But hey, I haven't seen anything else like it. It works and its wonderful. Will be bringing to Hawaii ;) Oh and definitely had a good laugh at all the subliminal messages.

Looks like a joke, works better than anything else.
After using a regular wax scraper to remove the bulk, The Pickle finishes the missed spots and residue like a champ. I almost stopped cleaning after doing 80% of the board thinking it would take another 80% effort to do the last 20%. The last 20% took much less time than expected and looks amazing! Hey, you still need to put in the work, but this thing removed all the wax in the pressure dents so easily I never considered giving up. It would be a deal at twice the price.
