Purchased this quite a while ago now and have used it since. Does what it is supposed to, holds stuff. I’m sure if I really wanted to get into it without a key I’d just take a crowbar to it, it’s just sheet metal after all. But if I had this thing anchored to a stud in a wall with the strap provided, a person would not be taking it anywhere else anytime soon.

Very sturdy, unfortunately it's a little off balance. I have to hold the lid open otherwise it slams closed. The brackets holding the cash in place also do not stay open well. I have pinched my fingers and hand a few times. I gave it 4 stars though because it seems very heavy duty. You could probably throw it hard on the ground and it probably wouldnt even scratch.

This cash box was perfect for our need. We used it for a Fireworks stand this summer and it was great. The cable worked great and gave us a peace of mind having our box sitting out all the time. The lock worked great. No money ever flew our of the box even when it was windy. Great buy for the money and I recommend this to anyone looking for a way to keep money safe. Good for garage sales also!

Good box for storing cash. The cash slots don’t make it real easy to pull money out. Also, wish it had a latch so you could close the cover and carry it around without using the key to lock it.

I purchased this cash box to store concession funds for a local youth program that I run. I chose this product for its value, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality. For the price, I honestly doubt you could find a more durable cash box. My original intention for this cash box was to just use it to get me through the summer, but now I plan on keeping it to store my valuables at home when the youth program ends.

Decent box. Sadly the lock mechanism came loose after my third vending event. The lock is held in place with a simple clip. Seems like once it comes off it continues to want to come back off. The coin tray is nice to have and you also have some small storage space behind the paper money slots, which is ideal for keeping PayPal or Square card readers, business cards, etc. The cable is a nice touch and gives some peace of mind, but in reality if somebody wants to steal and/or break into this box they're going to get into it. Anybody with a decent screwdriver could pry this open easily enough. Don't get me wrong, I really like this box, but it is not a safe by any means. It's great for what I use it for. The coin tray is plastic and the lid pops off from time to time, and the hinges are not the strongest. A bit concerned at how well it will hold up over time. For the price it was a worthwhile purchase. Just disappointed in the lock having issues after only a few uses.

I was in the market for a small "safe" like cashbox for me and my wife to use as a register for our yard sales. We do two or three a year. We didnt want a cheap one. I am impressed with the quality of this cash box. Its sturdy and well designed. Its easy to get the cash in and out, and the sorting tray for coins is a must have. We attach the cable to our table so no one can steal it!

Bought this cash box for our garage sale. It worked great. We secured it around the leg of the check out table. The keys worked smoothly. I kept one around my wrist and quickly locked it when I walked away from the table to help customers. The change compartments are curved so it’s easy to make change. Great buy!
