If a 2ft lizard or a 4ft snake wont fit in this hide, how can it be considered xx large?

I have a corn snake that is at least 3 feet long and he has a lot of room left inside. He has a lot of room to grow still.

Would a 4ft ball python fit in this?

My 5 ft female ball python fits in this cave just fine (with actual room to spare, even though ball pythons like to be squished, she still loves her cave and spends most of her time in there). It is big enough for a full grown female ball python that's 5ft long.

can you use a heat lamp on it?

Put it this way you can to a certain temp. A cave is to exscape the heat and if you put a heat light on it you have an oven . Best to monitor the temp inside the cave if plaining to do this. I would not put this under to much heat would possibly melt

Would this work well for an adult bearded dragon?
