Alto "peg" is tenor sized
The baritone bell rest is 4 1/2" across at the center. The alto bell rest is 3 3/4" which is tenor sized. My alto (pictured) would fall over and to the floor if bumped. I have 2 other Hercules sax stands, and this mistake is unusual. I will try to bring the sides closer together with a pair of channel lock pliers. If that doesn't work, then I will try using some pipe insulation padding (?). Also, the box had no cardboard bracing inside and the stand damaged the box slightly due to the usual careless handling. Fortunately, hercules stands are solid and it was not broken. (Alto is seen at a dangerous tilt. Tenor pictured is almost to the floor but safe).

Solid Yet Awkward
The angle of the alto/tenor stand is tough to get used to.

Strong and does not slide around
This stand was a great purchase. I have an Alto and a Bari, and they are both held in place securely with no fear of them falling off. Also, the stand has decent grips on the bottom, so it doesn’t slide around. I have zero complaints about this product. I highly encourage others to buy this.

Good Not Great
I have had great experiences with the Hercules alto sax + flute/clarinet stand and the Hercules flute stand in the past, so I jumped on this as well, since the other stands (especially the alto stand) are very very solid. The bari stand, though, has a couple problems. There is a definite wobble in the two side legs. Also, while extending the vertical portion that holds the bell of the bari, there will often be an inexplicable catch, so I have to re-jigger the catch lever two or five times before I can get it to extend fully. The bottom portion that contacts the bari is nice; you can adjust it to whatever height you need for your instrument. I like that since baris vary considerably in the configuration of the keywork and tone holes low C and below. I took a paint pen and marked where I want it so it hits the reinforced joint of the sax every time.I wish there were a threaded hole drilled in the other leg for a flute/clarinet peg; there's really no reason for it not to be there.Alto/tenor support is firm and works great.I would buy again if mine were lost/stolen.

Very reliable item.
This is perfect! I just missed that it has a hole for the soprano sax attachment so I didn't need to order another combo stand, I just need the soprano sax attachment. If it's not in the description, they should add that to reduce returns for the other combo.

Good utility but not perfect
I bought this for my 1941 Conn 10M and my 1921 Conn "New Wonder I" Bari when I play in a Blues/Pop group. It's sturdy and adjusted fairly well to the two horns. I did have to "squeeze" the upper fork to best fit the Tenor. No adjustment for the Bari except for height. no problems there. But the pre-drilled hole for the Tenor-stand puts the two horns a bit too close together for comfort, when they are both in the stand. There was room on the leg do drill another hole a little farther away so that more space between the two horns was made. Bari's with "low A" may be another matter, and I would advise keeping all the packing material until all adjustments were made, and you were satisfied that it fit and wasn't top-heavy, etc.

Tank setup for stage
My sax will not fall over especially riding in a tank over sandy dunes. Lol. No really this a great, sturdy well built stand. Not light. Has good weight to it.

good, but could be great
our music room has an piano, a nice stand with light and this stand for brass. This is likely a common use for a stand. Surrounded by all the shiny black or wood and of course brass, why not do something to make this look more upscale? Sure, it works well. But change out the tonka yellow parts for either shiny black or ivory or brass or just about anything else and it would augment the room instead of detracting from the room.
