Finally a good table saw!
Excellent product, I'm glad I got it. A stress free table saw, that's a funny thing to say, but with my previous experience it was a relief to get it. It works perfectly and I have not had any issues with it. It seems well made so I expect the longevity to be very good.I had so much frustration before because I went a little cheaper and got the grizzly g0771. What a mistake I made, nothing but problems with the product and the customer service at times. The grizzly table came scratched up, the safety key was missing, and then the pulley for the motor was recalled with the part on back order; they told me I was unable to use it for over a month due to safety reasons. The pulley could eject forcible through the saw slot and strike the user. After many calls and parts replaced I returned the grizzly, I thank grizzly for being a stand-up company and taking back the product that had caused so much trouble. I'm sure their more expensive saws are nice and of better quality. The G0771 had a lot of potential, with a few corrections it would be a good saw.I Got the delta and have been happy ever since. The fence and rail system is a million times better than the grizzly 2 piece aluminum rail and sad fence. The delta has a 1 piece rail, great fence, built in wheels, and it was very easy to assemble. The only drawback is the rail packaging, as neither delta, grizzly, or any saw company that I am aware of package these well. Ordering it from amazon they were quick to send a replacement for the damaged fence. Thank you amazon for your quick action in correcting the shipping problem.**Update **2 years in and a ton of wood through it and it still is as strong and fantastic as day one. Great quality product. I use it almost daily and through long weekends. Motor powers through anything I throw at it, even when run for many hours without shutting off for processing big projects. This thing is a champ!

Pretty Darn Good Saw
Delivery:Do not be fooled by free shipping. This option just gets a very heavy pallet with your saw to the street in front of your house and does not unload it. You need to order a delivery truck with a lift, which in my case was an additional $95. And, if you are lucky, your driver can back his very large tractor trailer up to your garage to unload the saw, if not you are on your own. I was lucky on all counts and, after getting over the additional $95, am satisfied with the delivery.36-5100 saw:The manual said the blade was aligned to within .012" and it was exactly that much off. The manual does not tell you how to align the blade to the miter slow. After some google searches, I found the procedure for the 36-725 which is very similar to the 36-5100. Aligned the blade to .002" and called it good. Also aligned the rip fence which was off by about .008". I do not trust the tilt angle so I purchased an angle gauge to set my 90 degree. The measurement line on the fence is adjustable, though the manual did not state this. After some cut, measure, adjust marker cycles, I can now trust it. The fence holds by clamping the rear rail, so when I am setting up for a cut I work the clamping lever lightly a few times to get the front and back of the fence aligned before clamping it hard. There is certainly more saw dust that I was hoping for. I use a shop-vac with the 2.5" port. About half the dust goes in the vacuum and the other half on the floor beneath the saw. If you are in a closed shop with no ventilation this saw may not work for you.The original blade was not terrible but I have replace it with freud general purpose blade and am happier. I also made a zero clearance throat plate insert out of MDF. This is no easy task since the original is a thin plate of metal. I had to do some precision routing to get the clearance I needed. So, I have had the saw about a month. I have made several jigs and completed a small project (square step stool). The saw cuts well and holds its accuracy when making identical parts. I feel this saw will grow with me as I grow my skills and make larger products.
