I use these notebooks as my everyday carry (EDC), and for that it's been nearly perfect.The pen clip means I always have a pen with this notebook. The faux leather cover feels nice, solid and looks dignified. I like that they put their name on the back of the cover instead of the front like so many other companies do.There's a place marker ribbon that I don't use now but it could be handy once I'm further into the book.I have the dot-grid type of paper which is a little narrow but I just use a fine point pen to stay within the "lines". Or use a thick pen and write wherever! There are plenty of pages. This also means the spine is fairly thick and one could write on it with a pen marker if you wanted to keep track of different series or categories of books.There's an elastic band which I really like because it holds the book together, making it so much easier to throw in a shoulder bag and not have to worry about pages getting ripped or mangled by the other contents.My only complaint is that I wish they made a thinner version because this one is just a little too thick to carry in my women's pants pocket. For men, it should be no problem at all.On the plus side, I think these little notebooks are a terrific value! I love these A6 notebooks! Shipping and delivery was impeccable with the notebooks arriving a day early. They were double wrapped and sent with great care which is huge for me. I love it when there's NO DINGS OR DENTS! They look, feel and smell like leather and for $7.99 for a pack of 2, these are very afforable. The notebooks are A6 and can easily fit in a back pocket and/or purse or backpack; making these super- handy. The notebooks are leather bound and hardcovered with a flexible but durable binding that allows the book to lay flat for easy opening and writing. The paper is 120 gsm, thick, smooth and dot grid with 144 pages back and front. And, both notebooks have an elastic pen holder, elastic closure, sewn in bookmark and a gussetted pocket on the back cover making this a brilliant notebook for anybody and everybody. So to begin, I am extremely happy with this purchase. These books are the perfect size to be comfortably portable. They literally tuck into a bag or a pocket with ease. They are grid paper, but not so bold that you cant do a number of things with them.You could easily use them for bullet journals, or sketchbooks. My lining brush marker did not bleed through the thick pages at all. I even tested it with my Caliart alchohol markers and my Copic sketches, and even they barely made it through the page.With a backpage for safety depending on how many layers you put down, this little book is perfect for it. Haven't tested paints or anything very wet media, but these books are a wonderful addition for any organizer, artist, writer, or scribbler. THANK YOU TAOTREE. ❤ I love them!! I had been shopping around for a pocket size notebook to carry everyday so I could write down all the things I would usually try to keep in mind but forget. from work to regular daily things like shopping needs or appointments. I had purchased 2 or 3 books prior to this one and just didn't fit well with me. Whether it was the structure, pages, or feel of the notebook I just couldn't find one I was satisfied with. Until I came across Taotree and these notebooks. I fell in love with it right away and integrated it into my daily life immediately. A big reason having this is important to me is the fact that I keep my fathers prayer card taped in the back of the book. He had passed away Christmas eve of 2019 and even though he's not here anymore I know he's always with me in my notebook. The card was a perfect fit in the back of the book and is almost like it was meant to be there. that was a huge factor in my liking of this notebook. Now I feel almost naked if I don't have the book in my back pocket. The cover is nice and soft yet durable, the inside pages are sturdy and take ink well, its not too tightly bound where you cant write in it comfortably. To me its perfect and I am very happy to have found this seller and product. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looing for a pocket book to have handy at work, school, or on your own time. This is a great name brand, cult following, knock off, with slightly better paper and a greatly better price. They lay open flat, the paper takes rollerball very well, rollerball with fp ink very well, and a pilot med nib with noodlers Ellis island blue black very well, no bleed through.As far as paper claims on 120g... No, feels more like an good 80 plus possibly 90g with just a hint of tooth. No where near as nice and smooth asclairefontain 90g notebook paper, but then again this is one third the price.They may have won me over on these little gems.

Crazy good quality for less. THAT IS SHOPPING. If you want a pocket book for sketching, writing, ink, or basic flakes of water this is for you. There's a little bleed through, but at the same time the ink I'm using is pretty heavy.It was kinda surprising how thick the paper is for the cost. Maybe there's some added cuts🤭🤫 but I can't tell where. Amazing value and product.If you're still reading, look at my pictures. Same ink you see a little of coming through the paper, is the same ink in the drawing. I'm telling you. Definitely worth past your money. 😊
