this is a great book on classical guitar.it takes a bit of time to learn some of the examples but fun to play once you master them.also did not know some of the pieces when I heard them for the first time,now I am playing those songs thankyou

10 days in...So far, as expected. Learn to use fingers independently and rapidly introduces you to classical songs that really require you to focus and raise your game rapidly. It probably couldve given more mechanics on finger picking but who knows if that strategy is necessary.

This book is put together really well. Great material.

I like this book, but the kindle edition is problematic. The finger numbering on the music is too small to read, but when you make it bigger, then you can only get one line of music per page. Get the paperback instead.

Not bad, but the tablature shouldn’t be in what purports to be a serious book. Would not recommend

Nice addition to my other books. Just as described.

Amazon sent this book really quickly and well packaged. That is the only good thing that I can say. This book was highly rated as a suitable teaching tool for a beginner. Sadly it is no help at all. I can read music, but not the strange notation put where the base notes usually are. There is nothing in the book to show where to put the fingers to achieve the notes. If I was more musical I could have sat at the piano for a few hundred hours and eventually identified the notes for myself. I had hoped for some basic help. I despair and have wasted money for no return.

The book is straight-forward and clear. It is simple enough but not too slow to be boring. I have been playing guitar for nearly fifty years and was still able to get some quite basic helpful tips from this book. The audio also helps, of course.

Ho acquistato questo metodo per avvicinarmi allo studio della chitarra classica, con un repertorio classico (sono un chitarrista jazz). La mia intenzione era proprio quella di trovare un libro che raccogliesse diverse partiture, anche di autori diversi (e quindi, non monografica) proprio per avere una panoramica più ampia. Questo libro risponde perfettamente a questi requisiti: ci sono brani (studi) di Tarrega, di Giuliani, di Sor e altri autori classici. La difficoltà è crescente ed è adatta anche a chi non ha mai suonato la chitarra classica, sebbene richieda comunque un livello tecnico di partenza non proprio basilare. Per quanto mi riguarda è un buon libro, che consiglio a tutti i chitarristi, di qualunque genere musicale.

Für mich ein gutes Buch fürs Selbststudium in Ergänzung zu anderer Literatur.
